Advantages: Many horses, many gizmos Disadvantages: It's a true example of Italian unreliability
...2002, I obtained a 2.4 Fiat Stilo Abarth from my local dealership on a 42-month personal contract plan. Over and above the already extensive specification, it also came with leather, comfort pack and 17" alloys. In the intervening period, the car has paid 13 separate visits to the dealership, the longest consecutive period in the workshop being six weeks. For a third of my term of ownership, I have either been driving a low-specification courtesy ... ...the AA out under my Fiat cover on the basis of a breakdown to obtain a courtesy car. The AA do not take kindly to this as their remit is to provide a rescue and relay service to motorists who are genuinely stranded in an immobilised vehicle, not one which is faulty but technically capable of starting and being driven. I have petitioned for the rejection of the Stilo on the basis that it is not fit for purpose. The request has been denied on the premise ...

Quick review of Fiat Stilo 2.4 20v
The car is such good value for money. The gadgets and gizmos really make sense. The car would suit the boy racer or the family man in all of us. The alloys really set the car off. The sound system is the same quality as the big £30k BMW AUDI's etc. I have bought a 2003 model and my friends with the big cars priced mine at £11k. Now doesnt that tell you everyone else is being ripped off!!
I like it so much Im buying one for my wife!
thanks fiat! ...

Advantages: Excellent gadgets & gizmos built in as standard Disadvantages: Very unreliable - true off roader so to speak (garaged)
I have purchased two Fiat Stilos over the past 18 months and both have been from the top end of the range. A Stilo 2.4 20V Arbarth and a 1.8 Dynamic. Both have been lovely cars to drive and own when they have been working, however, there have been many occasions when they have been back to the garage for a day or two while reoccurring problems have had to be fixed/repaired.
The Stlio Arbarth and Dynamic come with many gadgets and gizmos such as ... ...sky window, CD players, duel zone climate control are just a few. Too many to even get used to in the first 12 months.
The cars have been great fun and can now be picked up for well below the book price. They come with 3 years warranty (but this doesn't mean trouble free motoring). and buying a Stilo 1 or 2 years old is very advisable. ...
