Had this for about three years - then it develops a fault, the warning alarm is a good idea but when it goes off approximately every 12 hours day and night and I've had to wait two weeks for someone to come and fix it, it doesn't seem such a good idea now! In fact I've given up and purchased another fridge/freezer but not a Fisher and Paykel. There does seem to be problems with the active smart technology after about 3/4 years - just Google it. My recommendation is don't buy, unless you get a set of ear plugs at the same time and don't count on a fast response if (when?) things go wrong. It lookgs great though! ...

The sensor is faulty in mine, the fault alarm keeps going off at all hours I've been told the sensor cannot be replaced, and have wasted money on call out fees, (after warranty ran out). I'm stuck with a fridge that still works with a fault alarm that cannot be disabled! ...
