Elmo live your favourite sesame street character acts just like the real thing from the famous TV show. I decided to buy this for my 2 and half year old daughter as I had heard a lot of good things said about Elmo live and the many wonderful things he does as he laughs as he has sensors on his hands, feet, mouth, ... ...many funny jokes, he sings some of his favourite songs and he talks by moving his mouth up and down like a real person and I must say he is certainly not one to be shy at all as he can talk quite a bit but very interesting at the same time. Advantages: He's adorable - his character really shines through Disadvantages: Can be a bit noisy - but then, there is an off button
I have 6 grandchildren of different ages and like to keep a toy box for when they visit. As my husband and I have recently retired we thought we would renew some of the toys in the toybox and acquired Elmo, made by Fisher-Price.
Elmo Live stands about 12 inches high and is suitable for ages from 18 month. Elmo does bring out the nostalgia in many parents who can’t wait for their little ones to be old enough to get to know Elmo for themselves. ... ...own little blue chair for him to sit on. He really does represent the legendry life-like Elmo from Sesame Street - Elmo's mouth works in proper coordination with his speech and his head moves quite realistically when he is speaking. WOW - never mind my 2 yr old, I love this Elmo toy! Elmo tells you 2 stories, a few jokes, dances, sings,laughs and does a few other things too. It's not cheap at c£60, but I think it was just about worth the money. The only down side would be Elmo's lack of clarity/pronunciation - some things are a bit difficult to pick up the first time. Elmo sits to tell you stories and knows when he's fallen over...such a clever toy! As with all of these sorts ...

Elmo live is more of a childrens toy but it makes the whole family laugh. If you have seen Elmo on the TV you will be amazed because this toy is Elmo, in movement and speech. He comes with a little chair that if you put behind him and press his foot he tells a sory and sits down. You can press his nose, back, tummy and foot and he will come to life.
