I was given a recommendation by a friend to buy a booster seat instead of a high chair as I live in a small maisonette and didn't have much room. Owning a booster seat also had the advantage that I could take it to my parents house and restaurants and my baby would be familiar with it already.
Before buying this I had chosen a Safety First seat which was cheaper but on getting it home I realised that my 7 month old babys tummy was too big to fit ... ...bought this instead (for £29.99 at Toys R Us).
I am so glad I made that decision. This is one of the best buys I have made for my baby.
The seat fits securely to most chairs with a back by two straps which are adjustable. There are adjustable height levels (for three positions) underneath so that you can adapt the chair to the height of your child and your table.
