Advantages: lots of things to do, really educational and fun Disadvantages: makes noises and needs batteries
...world of little people by fisher price has so many options to choose from or indeed to collect over time. I chose to buy the ‘world of little people’ farm, as my little girl loves animals and from an early age was obsessed with trying to mimic their noises. With the help of this toy, she now recognises and mimics all the farm animals perfectly (and even confused her Nan into thinking there was a cat in the garden during one of her impersonations). ...

Advantages: great range, reasonably priced Disadvantages: so much choice you want them all!!!
I decided to review the Fisher Price Little People range as one rather than all the individual items. You may have seen the review for the Lights and Sound Garage, which is part of this range. I actually bought my son a few of the Fisher Price range for Christmas and am pleased I did.
The range includes Gararge, Farm, House, Zoo and Safari and Construction Site. They are available from all the major toy shops such as ToyrUs but Woolworths seem ...

Advantages: prices, large range, kids love 'em! Disadvantages: packaging!
...are of course made by Fisher Price and are available in “All good toy stores!” I personally have found the best range to be at Toys R Us and Woolworths.
The toys are tough and durable just as you would expect from a company with a reputation such as they have. With all the items I have brought from this range I have had no problem them, all the sets have come complete no missing pieces or any damaged. The assembling was minimal and some sets come ...

Advantages: Full of different things to play with Disadvantages: Cars sometimes need a push out of the lift
Remember the Fisher Price Garage from the 1960/70’s? Well it’s back. Updated with some of the old features intact.
~~~ CONSTRUCTION ~~~
Like most Fisher Price toys these days, they come in lots of pieces and it can take a while to construct. We tend to pre-build such toys before Christmas and birthdays to avoid disappointment and wrap them loosely built. This one however was a present from my son’s Auntie so no such time was allowed for it to ...
...it woolworths,argos,toys r us,mothercare, off fisher price website of even try ebay for a bargain.
The cost of the zoo is about 14.99 from woolworths the last time i saw it but varies as you can buy extras with it from other shops. The train set is around 25.99 to about 30 pounds depending on where you buy it if it on offer at the time.
The best thing about this play set it does not lose its appeal as you can add on the set together or change ...
Advantages: Easy for little hands to hold, encourage imaginative play Disadvantages: can be expensive to buy lots of sets
...had her first experience of Fisher Prices' Little People range when she was nine months old, in the form of the Train.
This came with three animals (tiger, parrot and giraffe) plus the driver dressed as a game/zoo keeper. It plays a tune when you push the driver down in her seat. One of the sides flips down, the tiger and parrot are on a see-saw, and the giraffe spins round when pushed. She had great fun with this, and still returns to it now ...
Advantages: Fun, Colourful, Imaginative Play Disadvantages: The bits get everywhere!!!!
...month old daughter loves the Fisher Price Little People range. There is so much of it to collect that you may think it is too big and expensive to start them off on.
I however asked friends and family who wanted to know wha to buy her for her birthday to get something from this range as the prices start from £5 up tp about £35.
It really encouranges imaginative play, the pieces are big enough not to cause harm (in my opinion), they are colourful ...
Advantages: Good build quality, simple open ended play. Disadvantages: multiple purchases required to really get the most out of the little people range
We were given the little people family house for our little girl at 12 months. At first she took little interest and it has only really come into its own at 18 months. The toys within the range are very simple and safe but as with all my experience with big toy manufacturers they haven't really put a great deal of effort into the toys themselves. The item that we have relies far to heavily a few sound effects it has which do not hold the average toddlers ...
