Advantages: prices, large range, kids love 'em!
Disadvantages: packaging!

The toys are tough and durable just as you would expect from a company with a reputation such as they have. Remember the Fisher Price Garage from the 1960/70’s? Well it’s back. The cost of the zoo is about 14.99 from woolworths the last time i saw it but varies as you can buy extras with it from other shops. The train set is around 25.99 to about 30 pounds depending on where you buy it if it on offer at the time. ...had her first experience of Fisher Prices' Little People range when she was nine months old, in the form of the Train. This came with three animals (tiger, parrot and giraffe) plus the driver dressed as a game/zoo keeper. It plays a tune when you push the driver down in her seat. One of the sides flips down, the tiger and parrot are on a see-saw, and the giraffe spins round when pushed. She had great fun with this, and still returns to it now ... Read review

...month old daughter loves the Fisher Price Little People range. There is so much of it to collect that you may think it is too big and expensive to start them off on. I however asked friends and family who wanted to know wha to buy her for her birthday to get something from this range as the prices start from £5 up tp about £35. Disadvantages: multiple purchases required to really get the most out of the little people range

We were given the little people family house for our little girl at 12 months. At first she took little interest and it has only really come into its own at 18 months. The toys within the range are very simple and safe but as with all my experience with big toy manufacturers they haven't really put a great deal of effort into the toys themselves.
