The Fisher Price Twirlin Whirlin Garden is suitable from age 6 months. It is basically a circular play mat that is attached to a plastic “garden”. It has four sections upon which you stack 12 blocks. There is also a see saw and two flowers for stacking and four different coloured lights. Advantages: keeps child entertained, Disadvantages: too expensive
I purchased the Twirlin Wirlin Garden for my second daughter last year, on her first birthday. Although she has enjoyed playing with it, I would say that £34.99 is a little too much. Other children in my family have played with it also, and although they find it entertaining at first, they soon become bored. I think this is for two reasons:-
1) It only plays one tune, which can get annoying after a while, and

Advantages: I did'nt find any Disadvantages: In my opinion i wasted my money
I bought the fisher price whirlin' twirlin' garden for my child who at the time was 7 months. He had, had such fun with the normal old fashioned building toys that I decided he'd love this idea!
I have to say I was influenced my the fisher price brand as the have such a good reputation for toys for youngsters.
