Advantages: softens skin and prevents flaking, dry skin Disadvantages: Feels a little bit oily and could be expensive
...some free samples of this Flexitol product in the summer and was sent 6 free sachets. Now in the summer I tend not to have many problems with the soles of my feet but at this time of year I find that they go very dry and although they don't look nearly as bad as some of the photos on the packet of this balm, I'm scared that if I don't start moisturising soon they may turn out like that. I put it down to wearing hard soled boots and socks as I'm usually ... ...background on the company. Flexitol is a range produced by Laderma, an Australian based company and has a wide range of skincare products, which unfortunately aren't all available in the UK yet. In 2003 they joined forces with the Moss Pharmacy Group in the UK who have been in business since 1915 and are part of the large Alliance Unichem Group. Moss has recently changed their name to Alliance Pharmacy. Their products are researched alongside leading ...

Advantages: Clears up cracks & dry skin within a couple of days. Disadvantages: How can a miracle have any bad points ?
...little bottle of miracle. The Flexitol Heel Balm. I have never had good feet I think it is because I walk awkwardly (so my mum says) and I cant have dry skin I have to sit and pick it till it is either too sore to pick anymore or if it starts bleeding. They are always sore I can never buy new shoes and not have a blister and I can never go a winter without my heels seriously cracking and giving me hassle. That was until I found Flexitol as per usual ... ...and prone to cracks.
Flexitol is made in Australia, imported to the UK and sold in most big chemists such as Boots, Lloyds, Superdrug and the Co-Op. You can get a 56g tube for about £4.49 and an 112g tube for £9.99.
The box the tube comes in is a bit disgusting looking there is a picture of a horrible manky heel which looks really dark and cracked then it shows it 2 weeks later looking perfect which I think is under estimating this balm because ...

Advantages: Good value, a little goes a long way, works Disadvantages: Old fashioned image which may not appeal to youngsters
...I visit again I tried Flexitol Heel Balm. He told me that due to the products oily consistency it worked much better on troublesome foot skin than the Scholl. I guess he was hoping his work would be easier next visit.
I purchased a 56g or 2 ounce tube from the nearby chemist and hot footed it home. Well I had just had my feet lovingly tended and for once they were smooth as silk.

The outer cardboard packaging stated that Flexitol is:-

Flexitol is applied to clean, dry feet for maximum effect. I initially applied mine just before retiring to bed and decided to wear a pair of thin cotton socks, just in case. I was glad that I did as this cream is very oily and would have probably made a mess of the bedding.
However it does work.
Flexitol is only recomended for adult use. It works best if applied twice a day, in a morning and then in an evening. The manufacturer's ...

Advantages: Really does soften skin, removes cracks and impovesthe feel and appearance of your feet Disadvantages: A little bit pricey, oily if you use too much
...them twice. My podiatrist recommended Flexitol as the best in her experience. She explained that the most active ingredient in moisturisers is Urea which is expensive and the more Urea a cream uses the more expensive it tends to be. Flexitol contains 7% which is the highest in any of these foot moisturisers.
I’ve seen this cream before but have been put off by the price but last week I decided to give it a go
I’ve now been using it twice a day ... ...how impressed I am. I have no hard skin; it’s been replaced with smooth soft skin that doesn’t have that nasty yellow tinge. Its even got rid of the hard skin round my little toe and the couple of cracks in my heels.
My foot care regime as recommended by the podiatrist:
Each evening;
• File rough skin, either after soaking (in the bath foot spar or bowl) or while dry.
• Dry skin well or rub off powder if filed while dry
• Apply cream, you don’t ...

Advantages: REALLY WORKS ON THOSE CRACKED HEELS Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE FOR THE AMOUNT YOU GET
Flexitol Heel Balm Flexitol Heel Balm is a rich moisturising cream that helps heal those sore or cracked heels. The cream contains vitamin E and Urea. Vitamin E will help improve skin generally and Urea is meant to throughrally hydrate the skin with continued use. The cost is £5.49 from Boots and other leading chemists and supermarkets. After a winter of cosy toes and feet wrapped up each day in socks and shoes or toasty warm sheepskin boots, I finally ... ...usual ritual of applying the Flexitol Cream. This routine continued for another two weeks, and FINALLY I noticed an improvement, and my heels started to get better. I am pleased to say that I no longer have cracked heels, but I do apply this cream from time to time as a preventative measure. You need to store this product between 10 - 30 c in a dry place. I don't know if there is an expiry date on it (I can't see one), but as with all creams I suspect ...

Advantages: It works better than any other brand I've tried Disadvantages: Smells a bit dodgy!
...and she suggested I try Flexitol Heel Balm. I went to buy it and to say the least I was put off by the price tag but my mum said it was worth it and as mums are usually (if not always right) I bought it.
WHAT'S IT LIKE??
Ok so having got over the first hurdle which was the price (£8.99 for 112g), the next one was the smell, the cream smells like the perfume my nan used to wear to go to Bingo and the last thing you want is to go to bed smelling ... ...it, the texture is thick with little grains (like sand-stay with me here it does get better!! ) in it and it takes some rubbing in but once it's on your feet it does soak in quite quick.
THE RESULTS
VERY impressive!! My feet improved within a week and they're so soft I don't even have to uses foot file now! I get no painful hard skin at all so I can forgive the price when it does 'exactly what it says on the tin'!
Let's face it ladies would you ...

Advantages: Works within 2 weeks Disadvantages: Can be expensive and greasy to apply.
I bought this product two weeks ago, and without sounding like a sales person, it actually works. I have suffered fro 10 years with cracked heels. Extremely deep cracks that not amount of moisturiser will clear. This product seems to close those cracks. Apply a pea sized amount on the affected area twice a day and you will see a difference.
However, this is not without it's drawbacks. The balm itself is very greasy... always keep a tissue or towel ... ...few minutes after treatment, as these end up greasy too!
The only side effect is a tingling sensation in particularly deep cracks, but this fades after a few seconds.
Also at over £5 for a small tube it can seem expensive. Despite this I have found that my tube has lasted the full 2 weeks and I have plenty left over.
All in all a very worthwhile purchase for those who, like me, are plagued by this slightly embarrassing problem. ...

Quick review of Flexitol Heel Balm
FLEXITOL HEEL BALM IS TRULY A MIRICLE CREAM! I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL OTHERS TO NO EVAIL, AFTER USING THIS CREAM FOR JUST 5 DAYS MY FEET ARE LITERALLY BRAND NEW. NO LONGER WILL I BE EMBARASSED ABOUT WEARING SANDALS OR SHOWING MY FEET. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE ALTHOUGH NOT AS OFTEN AS MY FEET JUST NEED TO BE MAINTAINED FROM NOW ON, AND AS FOR THE PRICE AFTER SPENDING SEVERAL POUNDS ON CREAMS THAT DIDN'T WORK I THOUGHT THIS PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE INDEED. IF YOUR FEET ARER CRACKED AND DRY THEN INVEST BELIEVE ME ITS WELL WORTH IT! ...

Advantages: soothes out all the cracks Disadvantages: can't think of any
right here i start my hubby saw this on tv and laughed told me i should try it as my feet feel like sand paper nice i thought or not.
I put it to the back of my mind for a while then while out shopping i saw an offer for it so i thought what the hell lets give it a go i've got nothing to loose and everything to gain.
so i happily bought a tube and went home that evening i tired it its very thick it says some stingging may occur as my feet are bad ... ...was pleased.
After a couple of days i started to notice the difference and so did my hubby finally then the tube ran out and never bought any more but soon noticed my feet started getting bad again. So i went and bought another tube and now use it all the time and swear by it.
Can even wear nice shoes now that show my feet like sandels instead of keeping them covered up in trainers and socks.
All i can say if your feet are as bad as my was use ...
