    The Flip Ultra HD camcorder was made most popular by YouTube. YouTubers (As the video creators are known) often use these inexpensive cameras to produce their videos for a number of reasons and these reasons are the same as many other people too.     Having already owned the standard video camera I was looking for something far less bulky but a video camera that would give good quality video AND still photos. The Flip Video Ultra HD far exceeded my expectations. You will find its very, very light and compact, comes with a nifty protective pouch and will fit in your pocket much the same as your mobile phone.     Over all the Flip ultra HD is a perfect daily video camera. If you need a camera to bring and record videos up to 2 hrs in length, this product would be perfcect for you. It has a very simple user interface. Its simple one click to record system is very easy for begininers or casual users. For the price this is a very good HD camera. It has a usb cable that pops out, so you dont need do keep track of any additional wires. Comes with a rechargeable AA battery pack that recharges when connected to USB.     As you can read from the previous two reviews, this little camcorder has nice dimensions and great specs. I'm not here to repeat what they said, but I am here to tell you that this little video recorder is amazing. Are you an outdoors person that goes on tons of trips? Do you rock climb? Do you mountain bike? Do you kayak, canoe, surf, paddle board, fish on a boat, water ski, water tube? Do you go camping often? Do you snowboard or ski?     This video camera was PERFECT for my needs. I took it camping, used it when making home movies, and filmed my friends and me simply goofing off. The flip didn't break when I dropped it (which was often) which was a nice change from some of the other video cameras I've owned. The battery life was surprisingly long and lasted usually until I was finished with whatever I was doing. Though the flip was perfect for me, I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for a camera to use for professional purposes. While the flip is fun, its sound and video quality isn't the best.     I bought one of these earlier in the year to capture all my little one's best moments and I have to say it does the job very well. It takes only a second or two to turn on and start recording so if you suddenly decide to capture something, you won't miss much. It is also a very handy size fitting into trouser pockets just like a phone. Also you can get an waterproof case for it so you can take it swimming - even better for not missing any special moments if you have children.     i believe this product is amazing because its all that you can ask for in a small, portable video camera. when you first open the box you get the camera, batteries, plugs to go to your TV, an instruction manual, a cd to downloads the software, it also comes with a great tripod that screws into the bottom the video camera for easy use.. this thing is great, you can just plug it straight into your laptop and go. another great thing is that you can purchase cases online like the waterproof camera. the only downside to it is that you cannot take still shots with it, and it is big and bulky ... more
