Advantages: quiet, light in weight Disadvantages: doesn't cut short enough.
Recently brought this product 2 months ago, it's quite big, handy if you got a huge lawn.
I've only used this product once or twice and i'm still finding it hard to use, it's light and easy to push around, They could've made the cord a bit longer especially as its a big lawnmower, obviously it's going to be used for large gardens so not sure why they made it too short. I had to use 2 extension leads to get the lawn mower to the bottom of my garden.
... ...places with this lawnmower and it didn't seem to do it's job right. The grass wasn't cut short enough and i had to go over a few patches more than once.
Best thing about this product is the grass collector, you'll never have to use a rake again!!! The grass box can be easily removed and emptied ...

Advantages: Goodlooking, Value for money, Metal blades. Disadvantages: Nothing till date.
My purchase of Flymo PAC A Mow was the result of some intense research. I was looking for a not too costly mower,that had a metal blade and which would do a decent job.
Appearance:
The Flymo came in a bright orange and grey colour which lent some colour to my garage. It is really cool to look at. It can also nicely be packed away after use so dosent compete for much space.
Putting It Together:
Wasnt too complicated as there is an excellent leaflet ... ...up close!
Using/Operating it:
Flymo has 2 start stop levers on the upper handle of Flymo. You can use either one after first releasing the Lock-Off button on the switch box. This Lock-Off button is a good safety feature which will prevent the machine from turning on accidentally.
The point to note when mowing a slightly overgrown lawn is not to overload Flymo. Its best to first mow it at the highest height stting first and then to mow it again ...

Advantages: Price, easy to store, does the job easily. Disadvantages: none i can think of
I used to have a flymo Hover mower which i paid a LOT of money for but my wife blew it up!! (she tried using it when it was wet!!) So after i ignored my ever growing grass problem i decided i needed a new mower.
i went out with the intention of not wanting to spend a lot of money and settled on the Flymo PAC A MOW as soon as i saw it. It was in my (low) price range and seemed quite a good moweron paper, so i took the chance and bought it.
Upon ... ...green. With my old Flymo it used to kill the grass turning it into a horrid brown dry mess. My neighbour has the same model as the old one and he was out cutting his grass at the same time as me, he ended up with a brown lawn whereas mine was still nice and green!!
All in all i am quite pleased with it for the money, it folds up nice and small too and is easy to store.
well done flymo 5/5 from me. ...

...they do not deal with Flymo guarantees any more. When I called Flymo next time adviser on the other side of the line told me that Flymo guarantee covers only: 1. On/off switch and 2. Motor. Nothing else is covered. They made machine with badly designed part. Two plastic pins are supposed to hold fast rotating blade. And luckily for them they do not cover that by guarantee. Be very aware if you are buying this mower. If you are buying something else ...

...I have also had a flymo mow n vac, which was not effective. The Pac a mow is lightweight and easy to use. It has metal blades, and cuts the grass very well, even when long. The mower was very east to assemble, and the handle folds down to allow easy storage. The front of the mower even fits inside the grass box for easy storage.
