I pay a monthly direct debit of £19 and I get a 60 day supply sent to me by post every three months. They seem to be more comfortable, less likely to dry out and less expensive. The cost may depend on where you buy them.
Specsavers do good deals on contact lenses and have always given me good service. Worth a try I think. When you go to your optician they will be keen to help you find the right lenses for you. Make sure you have a good trial first before you decide.
Are you convinced? I hope so. They are definitely ...

Advantages: comfortable, no cleaning required, easy to use Disadvantages: price
I have been wearing Ciba Focus Dailies for the last 3 years and would be lost without them. My eyesight isn't particularly bad, but it's bad enough to need to wear glasses for driving and watching TV. I've never really got on with wearing my glasses - I don't like the way that it's blurry around the outside of the lenses, as it makes me feel like I'm living in a bubble. My glasses also pinch the sides of my nose, so are not that comfortable to wear. ... ...**What are they?**
Ciba Focus Dailies are daily disposable contact lenses. You can wear them for up to 12 hours and then after that you simply throw them away and replace them with a fresh pair the following day. They have a unique ultra-thin edge design that is designed to make them comfortable throughout the day.
Daily Disposable contact lenses were first introduced by Johnson & Johnson in 1987 and were a revolution in how consumers wore contact ...

...that day. At my opticians, Focus Dailies cost about £35 -40 a month, which you make think it is a tad steep, but believe me, if you have had the hassle of glasses it is a small price to pay. It depends on the opticians but you can usually get a deal if you buy six months worth of contact lenses in advance.
The main benefit for me is the ability these lens give me to put spontaneity into my social life. Before contact lenses I could not go out shopping ... ...depended on whether I had my glasses with me. With these I just keep the contacts in all the time, so I can do what I want when I want. They are easier to clean than non-daily contact lenses, because you DON’T have to clean them. Instead of messing around with cleaning lotions, all you do is pop them in in the morning and take them out at night. I found that even in a smoke filled atmosphere, i.e. a pub, my lenses were not irritated what so ...

A few months ago I changed to Ciba daily disposables, after wearing monthly lenses for a few years. (before that we used to have to wear the lenses for 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
These daily disposables are great, if your like me, and like an easy life and convenience. Everyday you just wear a brand new pair of lenses and throw them away when you take them out.
The fact that you wear a new pair everyday, is so much more hygenic, as it reduces the risk ... ...eye. I pay a monthly direct debit of £35 and I collect a 3 months supply a time. Expectations (bear in mind i'm a total wuss!)
Well after my research on the net i couldn't help but notice the amount of people that mentioned their lenses had torn in their eye and they had to fish the halves out, sounds horrible!!! At the moment this costs £39.00 approximately. At £39.00 a month, the cost would soon stack up for regular users – though I have heard of a web site where they can ...

He chose Ciba Focus Dailies. These are daily disposable contact lenses. I had to get 2 different sets as my eyes are different (see beginning). It worked out at around £15.00 per box. Advantages: far better than glasses - see above Disadvantages: can be expensive
There aren’t that many people I know who enjoy wearing glasses, me included, and that is why contacts can often be a favourable idea.
I didn’t have a choice as to what brand of contacts I had, Boots just gave me Ciba Vision, and I can’t really complain. The eye’s natural reaction is to blink when a foreign object is close, and you will find that because these are soft lenses, they may bend when you blink, and so do not go in your eye. The disadvantage here is that they are likely to fall from your eye, and so will have to be cleaned. Also, if they do bend, and get turned inside out, it is ...

Blind without them. I am sure there are many of you out there who know what I mean when I say without my glasses I am as blind as a bat. I am also sure that those of you who do need to wear glasses are familiar with looking at the world in a blurred way without them. Glasses are a pain. Ive been wearing disposable contacts for about 1 year and a bit now, and ive found that the dailies are much better than the monthly ones. I mean with the monthly ones, not only do u have to purchase the contacts cleaner solution every so often,(half the time, u never get to use up all the bottle, coz its past its date), u have the added work of cleaning the lenses before and after you wear the lenses, but with dailies, u never have to worry about ... ...have the trouble of cleaning them becuse of long nails..its a pain!(u always have the fear of splitting them accidently too)...with disposable ones, all u need to do is open the packet, pop them in, at the end of the day, take them out and bin them!?...how simple is that?? easy as 1,2,3
The price of dailies is much more expensive that monthly ones, but its worth it for convenience sake:-) (hmm maybe im just plain lazy eh)...but its also hygenic, ...

I have worn these for around a month now and I promise you that if you start wearing these you won't feel them at all. These are so easy to put on in the morning and can easily be left on until 10 at night because unlike many other brands they don't dry your eyes out. On my 1st day I only realised that I had them in for around ten minutes and since then it was like I have had perfect vision throughout my life. The contacts come in blister packs which ... ...easy to store away in a pocket or handbag so in the case you do lose a contact it is easy to fit another one back in. The only downside is probably the price with the cheapest I could find being 180 lenses for £50.80 which would cost 59p a day (assuming you wear 2 lenses/1 pair per day). Overall these are probably the best contact lenses on the market so have no hesitation in change your brand to see much more clearer! ...

Review of Focus Dailies (Box of 30) Contact Lenses
Advantages: Cheaper than other dailies Disadvantages: Limited wear as they dry out easily
The CIBA focus dailies are cheap contact lenses, which are easy to wear and no hassle to maintain.
So all you need is the lenses- no solution, no mess, no fuss.
A summary of the advantages:
- 100% hygienic , as each pair is fresh from the pack
-remember to wash your hands thoroughly before using!
- inexpensive when compared to other brands:
i paid £60 for 90 pairs ( they last me around 7 - 9 months)
- open pack, put in eyes, wear, take out ... ...- wear for going out, sports, swimming, diving.....
- cheap to replace (when compared to glasses or lost monthly lenses)
- dailies are great if you wear both glasses and lenses, as you can wear them as often or little as you like
Disadvantages:
- can be difficult for first-time users, as no markers to tell you if you have them the right way round
- not coloured- so impossible to spot if you drop one in the sink
- dry out quite quickly- i have ...

Advantages: very conveniant, wor all day, nice packaging, Disadvantages: can sometimes irritate and move across the eye.
...but seldom happens with CIba focus dailies.
Dailies in general
Using contacts daily can be very expensive, Ciba's wind up at around £1.00 a pair nowadays so that's about £30 a month. Not too bad too see clearly for over 14 hours if need be.
That's another thing, the length they stay in without dislodging is more than adequate for any working day. If you need to go out in the night I can recommend splashing out and using a fresh pair: It just feels ... ...your eyes feel less tired.
Another little tip is to carry a spair pair in your pocket in case of emergencies. They are sl small in packet terms that they will not take up any more space than a couple of coins in your pocket.
Buying
Optitians obviously but I recommend buying in BULK. It saves hassle and to get three months worth may even get you some money off ;-).
