Advantages Advantages Much improved gameplay and interactivity

Disadvantages Disadvantages Still not enough players pictures out of the box

This is a soccer management simulation game produced by Sports Interactive and Sega. The game is vastly improved from the 2011 version of the same title. The way it is better than Football Manager 2011 in my opinion is that, there is more interactivity and more responsiveness from the players. The objectives of the game is to coach and manage a football team of your choice, or you can select a team at random to manage, or you can choose from most football leagues. You can choose to start in lower divisions to start with, or you can you jump straight into managing a top flight team. Graphics ... more

Advantages Advantages There is plenty to do on there and win

Disadvantages Disadvantages Speed of the game

Football Manager is a franchise of games which has become a very addictive game since the first games came out in 2005. Back then the game was very basic as new concepts were added each year ready for the next instalment. This year the 2012 edition has become so huge in how many features the game has that they will have trouble when it comes to next year’s edition to come out aiming to topple it. Installation. I have rarely done a review where I have to mention installation on a game and this game needs some explaining to help people. You have two ways to get this game installed onto your ... more

Advantages Advantages Brilliant design, implementation and end product.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Awkward Steam activation

FOOTBALL MANAGER 2012 The principle of Football Manager is simple - you are cast into the role of Manager of a football (soccer) team of your choice. You are responsible for transfers, coaching, PR, team selection and convincing the board of your vision in order to set the budget. This year's iteration (2012) is, incredibly, once again pushing further to represent the vast detail of the football world, with hundreds of thousands of players, tens of thousands of clubs, and leagues from every inhabited continent on earth. As a manager, you must assemble your team over time; players may be ... more

Advantages Advantages Revamped conversation system | add/remove leagues option | slicker and faster than ever

Disadvantages Disadvantages No music at all | Visually poor, even in 3D match mode - stick to 2D | Is long - not for the light

Football Manager 2012 Tested and reviewed based on the PC version. Review by Ben Nacca (Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/BenNacca ) XBL GT: Darkeyes1991 PSN ID: Darkeyes2k11 The footballing sim is back once more and rest assured, it’s bigger than ever with new additions, more realism and just more of the good old Football Manager we all love. As far as new features go, well there is nothing ground breaking to be honest. There was the 3D match engine a couple of releases ago but since then, nothing huge. However, the biggest changes are with how the game plays, interactions and analysis ... more

    Advantages Advantages Addictiveness, Gripping, Emotional

Disadvantages Disadvantages May lose your friends, spouses and jobs.

Football Manager 2012 as with every year it manages to ensure you lose a large proportion of your life without you noticing that your spending hours watching very basic animated men running around on a green background. Despite the same simplicity every year it can't help but draw you back for more to try your hand with the latest players. And never fails to convince you that it is realistic and that you should probably be being considered for the currently vacant England job. Those of you who are familiar with football manager will understand the addictiveness and as ever there are a few ... more

Advantages Advantages The game is so in-depth. It has so many more playable leagues than console rivals such as FIFA 12.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The game can become repetitive and is not always very realistic.

Without doubt my favourite football management simulation game available on PC. The vast amount of facts and statistics the game offers are astounding. The game itself is excellent and very comparable to real life football management. In most cases it is realistic and very challenging. The sheer amount of different playable teams is unbelievable. In my opinion, this is a title that will take some beating. I found the game very challenging yet also very rewarding. One of my favourite aspects of this game is the task of taking a lower-league team from any country and propelling them to the top ... more

Advantages Advantages Great gameplay, quick, easy to use, new team talks

Disadvantages Disadvantages Addictive, need to get the new one every year

Football Manager is well worth the money you spend on it, but of course you have to be a football lover in order to get the most out of this. I've been getting football manager for the last 5 years, I still enjoy it a lot, I guess that is the only bad thing, you have to buy a new one every year, because of all the new players at clubs and everything. So I recommend football manager to you.... unless you don't have the heart for it, and don't like controlling every aspect of a team. Also the team talks are a lot better now, you can choose the mood of the talk you wish to give, so making it easier ... more
