I've owned a 1993 Ford Escort 1.4LX (5 speed manual, single injection) for about 2 months now and to tell the truth, its no BMW but its a great drive. I've had my battered little Escort since January 2000, and it's done me proud so far. I bought this car 3 years ago and have never had any problems with it. Mine is a silver one with hatchback, 5 doors and rear spoiler so looks nice as well. The car was well looked after when I bought it and had been regularly serviced so if you are buying one make sure yours has! Its cheap to run, very cheap insurance and lovely to drive. It has all the trimmings such as electric windows at the front, power steering, central locking, drivers airbag, ...
