Lacking in style

Advantages: Great AC
Disadvantages: Lack of power

I have to admit a Ford Fiesta would not be my choice of car but having been at the front of a three car pile up a couple of weeks beforehand my own car was off to get a new rear bumper and I was presented with a brand new Ford Fiesta for a weeks driving pleasure although to be honest the only real pleasure was the fact that it had a pretty good air conditioning unit that served to remind me that I needed to get the gas topped up in my own car. Having ...
...well illuminated. The CD/radio is Ford branded and is perfectly adequate although the lack of controls on the steering column for it is poor given this feature has been on the focus for a few years now. The other positive is the air conditioning which I have already mentioned and is very powerful and fast responding. On the negative with the internal features as well as the lack of design appeal I found the seatbelts to be an uncomfortable reach ...

My new little baby....

Advantages: Had a ford before
Disadvantages: Everyones got fiestas!!!

Well, after having an old ford fiesta for two years I decided it was time to change (just for the simple fact that my old car was going to cost too much to get repaired - but thats another story all together!!) anyway I went along to my local Ford dealer to see what they had on offer...well if I brought a Ford it would only be a fiesta, everything else is too big for me! So my sales man was about my age so I found him very easy to talk to and ask ...
...buying (I really think I should do an op about the dealership as well, I have quite ALOT to say about them!) and I decided my new car was going to be a new 'Y' reg Fiesta Freestye 1.25i - 16Valve (I like to get the 16V bit in!!!) It came with alloy wheels, electric windows, CD player, front fod lights and optional metalic paint. Well of course I had to have metalic paint....which would cost me another £250!! The car is not bad at £9,995! (only ...

A girl's first car - 1995 Fiesta Ghia

Advantages: Tidy, reliable, economical, a lot of character
Disadvantages: Not much space on the back seats; prone to rust

I have a 1995 Fiesta Ghia (Ghia means it has snazzy extras like electric windows, remote central locking and one of those buttons to open the boot with). It's N reg but I'm quite proud of the fact that it was one of the first Fiestas in the 'new' shape - okay, I know there's another new shape since that one, but you know what I mean. I always feel a bit smug when I see an N reg in the old shape, and like to imagine the owners feeling all awe-inspired ...
...ergonomic silver shuttle. So maybe I'm exaggerating, just a little bit. The Fiesta is never going to be a top-of-the-range, desirable model or the envy of all who survey it. But for a first-time buy, you can't go far wrong with a second (or third) hand Fiesta. I got mine about eighteen months ago for a mere £850, with a little over 60,000 miles on the clock. As a girl, this meant bugger all to me, until I was told that the average car does at least ...

1997 LIMITED EDITION FIESTA FUSION - MY FIRST CAR

Advantages: It's a cheap, fun car!
Disadvantages: You have to search for the best ones

...actually) My car is the Ford Fiesta from the year 1997. It has the standard 1.25 Zetec engine but the car itself is actually a LIMITED EDITION and is therefore called a Ford Fiesta Fusion. A little about the car itself: It is the middle shape of the Fiesta (Not the old shape) It has a standard 1.25 Zetec engine 16V 3Door Available mostly in metallic paint Year of production: 1997 Can come with electric windows/central locking/sunroof Hatchback ...
...modern. I have the standard Ford CD player and radio, all my air vent and light controls and a small tray near my gearstick. When I say it is very simple - I mean there is a lack of coin trays, secret draws and things to accomodate junk! I also lack a cigerette lighter. The dash is not ugly in anyway through the basicness, it is actually quite appealing. I do not have central locking nor electric windows but for a car of this age - this is available. ...

...what we've got here, a Ford Fiesta. Ford are known for making quality cars and as in this case, a car even Tiny Tim couldn't fit in let alone Vanessa Feltz! This is a wonderful car to drive as long as you make sure you've got powersteering as I'll explain a little later. Plenty of times I have drove this car around town giving it a good work out! So let me explain this car to you. UNDER THE BONNET: Under the flimsy bonnet lies a small but airly ...

The top speed is definetly exceptable, so don't worry, you wont be coughing and choking in shock, its max speed is 104mph. But like most engines, your be suprised how easy they are to push which is where I refse to comment. The Zetec engine is much more shifty, no, not shifty as in dodgy but it jumps of the mark into 60 about ...

Fiesta.Yes ford do still make them

Advantages: Small.Economical.Smooth
Disadvantages: High speed noise.Fanbelt.

I have owned a Ford Fiesta since March 2001 which was brought new. I am very pleased with the car overall and it is about the best of the rest when it comes to small cars. My Fiesta is the 1.225cc and 16V with the aluminium head and i must say that it quite nippy when it needs to be. The car is very economical in urban surroundings and very economical on out of town runs.I recently drove to Le Mans in France and the car returned 40-42MPG which ...

The price difference between the 1.225 and 1.3 is £800 and yet all you get different on the 1.3 is aircon. You can put aircon in the 1.225 for £500 thus saving £300 and keeping the smaller engine. The engine is very good and picks up nicely when asked when shifting through the gearbox. When in fifth the engine is quite happy to pull you along at ...

Advantages: Many - Looks good, drives well, great extras, very comfortable
Disadvantages: Honestly none come to mind!

...car is a Zetec badged Ford Fiesta but was actually sold to me as a Ford Fiesta Freedom due to the particular optional extra package that was included in the deal. It is an 06 registration plate and therefore my review is based on my experience with this car. Many people consider the Fiesta to be a \'Mom\'s car\' due to their history and this would be a fair assumption. I am however a 23 year old male lawyer and this is my second Fiesta and i am ...
...add much needed style where Ford have in the past used cheap looking wheel trims. As for the 1.25 engine, I originally went to buy the 1.4 version but Ford had stopped making the car with that particular engine at that time so I was eventually convinced to go for the 1.25. I should point out that it is also 16v which gives the car an edge over my previous fiesta which was a 1.3. It is a quick car and I rarely see another car that can beat me off ...

...putting their personalised touches on Ford cars for about 25 years now. I remember Escorts of the 1980's having chrome piping around the windows to make them look posh . The Fiesta is one of the models where it makes a REAL difference today. In today's modern fiesta, your "bog standard" model would give you: Manual windows. Basic cloth trim. Basic dash layout. Fiesta Ghia.....Would definately have another.

Advantages: Reliable, simple, great road holding.
Disadvantages: Very few, perhaps more leg room for rear passengers

I have been driving for 20 years and until i bought this Fiesta I have always owned and driven medium or large family size cars. However downsizing became the option when we decided to have 2 cars in the family. My husband now drives a bigger car and i have the small typical girly car! My Fiesta Ghia is a P Reg and i bought it with around 40,000 on the clock i have now done 58,000, therefore have travelled 18,000 miles in 4 years....not many miles ...
...mileage for 11 years old. So, having decided to downsize i was a bit sceptical as i was led to believe that smaller cars were noisier and less comfortable, however i have been very impressed with this little baby and would most definately choose another Fiesta again. RIDE: The ride is very smooth and the engine idles and runs quietly, the road handling around corners is fantastic, it feels very solid and positive. The seats are very comfortable ...

In summary a sure fire winner and running costs are low also which makes a good choice for a run around or the school run, also easier to park than other larger cars. Having had a look around I set my sights on a Tango Red Ford Fiesta and thought hey....that looks pretty special and immediately requested a test spin. My Fiesta

Advantages: Cheap, comfortable, Handles well
Disadvantages: Acceloration

Ford fiesta's are one of the most popular small cars in the UK. I am a 19 year old male and previously owned a Peugeot 106. The Ford Fiesta that i now own is so much better for me. The comfort of the ride is brilliant and it is very easy to drive. The gear box allows for a nice and easy gear change, you can almost throw it into gear. The handling is also great, much better than the 106 I owned. You feel safe in it and it sticks to the road. One disadvantage ...
...going it really is quite zippy. The fiesta is stylish too and this is defiantly important, getting style for this price is a big plus point. I would give the Fiesta a 9/10, especially for young drivers. it is comfortable, looks good, and safe as well as being quite cheap in comparison to similar cars. ...

Good Car .. good reliability -UPDATED- -AND AGAIN-

Advantages: Good handling, and a fair poke from the Zetec engine
Disadvantages: None that I can really think of unless you have a dislike for small cars

...I was looking for a Ford Focus but it was just beyond my price range so I settled for a nice shiny Fiesta Zetec. Its good on the petrol and has a good sporty looks with alloys and a spoiler included. Very nippy for a small car

Advantages: powerful yet small engine, roomy inside, smooth ride, smooth gear change
Disadvantages: there is a common fault that causes water to enter the car through the rubber seals, but it is easily and cheaply cured.

The ford fiesta is one of my all time favourite vehicles - reliable, economical and just what I wanted for my first car. Having only driven the old type fiesta up until now I wasn't prepared for my new fiesta fusion - for such a small engine it is surprisingly nippy and powerful. It's roomy inside and attractive on the outside. Fitted with an immobiliser and radio safety device I also found it to be relatively low to insure, and fiestas are hard ...
...locks. Safety wise a driver's airbag is fitted, and recent independant tests proved it to be one of the safest cars to drive, with the nissan micra one of the least safe. A tank full of unleaded petrol just seems to last ages and ages (about 50 to the gallon) compared to other cars which is brilliant since I'm a student. I also love the CD player and radio, which has excellent pickup and little interference. I bought the car used and almost 3 years ...

Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec, Ghia 5 Door. I got this car about four years ago already a year old, and so far, I have nothing but good things to say about it.
