(This is a review of the 2004 model, before the 2006MY facelift.) The new-edge styling still looks good, and it's a practical shape. I still take issue with those big "cute eyed" headlamp lenses, but most small cars have them these days, Interior The interior is upholstered in beige, which looks...

Excellent

cheap to run, great fuel economy

no ABS

I have owned this car for a little over a year and a half, over which time I have done about 20k. When I bought it, it had just under 30k and it recently hit 50k which is just under average for its age. I have had only one problem with it in that time, this being a leaking coolant pump which ford...

Absolutely attrocious mechanical reliability.

In one line, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! General overview = I purchased my Ford Fiesta with only 6000 miles on the clock. For the next 2 years, I had perfect, trouble-free driving, withthe exception of the engine cutting out at 70 MPH on the motorway, as the fuel heater element (built into the fuel...

Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.4 TDCi 5dr Background I have owned my 2004 Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi since it was 6 months old and have traveled at the time of writing (OCT 2007) 25000 miles though the car has done 30000 in total. The car lacks in one area, which is acceleration, however, this does not detract from...

I like my Fords I have had 3 a focus and two fiestas and never had a problem (best touch some wood now) at all this is the third fiesta I purchased. I bought the fiesta to replace a fiesta, which was the last of the old generation; I purchased the car for my wife who travels a long distance daily...

In my opinion, the Ford Fiesta is the best hatchback around, better than the Vauxhall Corsa, the Suzuki Swift, the Citreon C2 or the Renault Clio and any other competitor. For the price you can get one for today, it is a steal. Outstanding value for money and with it being a Ford, it is very easy...

Economy, Value for money

Not the highest performance

I bought one of the first diesel Fiestas of this shape back in 2002. I chose it because I liked the looks and it was in my price range. Right from the start it met my expectations: A nice chunky interior that doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't, handles extremely well and has proved very...

This was my third driving instructors second car (i've driven a few!) and this is the car i passed my test in. It's a beautiful design and he had the 5 door blue one. I think the design features for this car are better than my car (peugeot 206 - as my handbrake is over the passenger side and...

Super

Cheap to run, Zetec handles really well

Bit plasticy inside, can get rattly.

I have a 2002 Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4 TDCi 5dr in red. Over 60MPG, very low insurance and cheap tax. Beware of the first batch in 2002 that didn't have the CO2 tweaked so yours paying £120 tax when the exact same car released months after is only £35 a year to tax. Very annoying! The Zetec has...

“I love my Ford Fiesta”

Small, Quite nippy, Drives well

My model has no air con and no sun roof

After some helpful comments from other members i have decided to re-write my review, as i think my first attempt left alot to be desired. Sorry. I decided i wanted a new car as my old one had been playing up for a while, and i didnt want to spend out having it fixed. I looked around for a while...

remote hatchback,smallish boot space

I bought this little ford number back in march, Its a fun little car that just wants to go. From the outside it looks like a smaller version of the acclaimed Focus, its looks are not too bad. The engine is Ford new TDCI which is basically the same engine thats in the 206 and C3, it very...

Good

Neat little car!

Poor handling!

Having passed my driving test nearly two years ago now, I couldn't wait to get my first car to start driving on my own and finally get the freedom i wanted. It seemed like we were taking forever to decide on our so called 'perfect' car with the CD player, air conditioning and reasonably sized...

Very economical little car. It is small enough to get parked and drive around town and also spacious enough to seat five people and shopping bags in the boot. I have currently owned this car for years and am buying another 2009 model. Cheap tax £35 per year, cheap insurance and high fuel efficieny. It is a lovely car to drive, very smooth. Perfect car for new drivers and also young professionals. A very good buy!!

I have had my Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4 TDCI for about a week now and I cannot complain. I know a week isnt that great a period but after my old car I can tell if a car is worth its weight. Mine is a 52 plate and has everything I could want, cd player, air con, central locking, electric windows etc. I find this newer version of the Fiesta far more spacious than my old R reg fiesta and cannot complain about the boot space, for a small car I think the boot is ample, its not intended to be a family sized boot. I have high hopes for the mpg as I have gone down about a bar and a half and done 130 miles so its looking good. Great car!!

Cheap but good value, economical to run.

Interior looks cheap

Now i was bought this car for a birthday present to learn to drive in, i know that it might not look the most stunning car, but when you sit inside it and drive you forget that its a Ford. I had this car for 2 years while i was learning to drive, its easy to get used to the handling of the car...
