I've got a ford fiest along with my merc, and it's absolutely hopeless. Every four weeks, the engine breaks down and we have to take it to the machanic. He fixes it, and it breaks down again. And it's not the mechanic - I've taken this wreck of a car to lots of places. It's cheap and flimsy - but what can you expect from the americans? I had one of these as my first car. It lasted well, until the head gasket blew. That was costly! I found on roundabouts, in the wet, at the right speed (about 20) you can spin this car several times. Or perhaps on corners even with a grippy road surface. I think the highlight of this car was getting 3 weeks of driving (short distances) out of 1 tank! that was impressive. It sounds like a sowing machine, but can be modified to your hearts content ...
