Ford Fiesta Zetec S

I purchased a Ford Fiest Zetec-S from Hamer Ford, West Bromwich back in September 2000 for a total of £11,500 including two services, a years fully comp insurance and a three year Ford Warranty. Fitted out in Panther Black with a Grey/Red interior,I can still remember it as vividly as the day I picked it up at the height of the fuel crisis. So no free tank of petrol as I'd been promised and by the time the petrol strike was over the deal was done ...

But along come Ford with their Free Comp Insurance-saving me £800 on insuring my Zetec 1.4, and along vame my best friend (of Valentine One etc fame) and started "negotiating" with the salesman. Suddenly the deal became VERY tempting, and finally Hamer "lost" a further £100-DONE! £6000 + my green Fiesta Zetec for the Fiesta I'd always wanted. I have now had my Ford Fiesta Zetec engine size1.4 for three months and have been very pleased with it so far. Although it is a small car i find that the inside is spacious and you can fit three people in the back without to much bother. There is a lot more room than my old car which was a VW Polo. My son as just purchase a new 1.6 zetec diesel from Matlock Ford cost of £8.999. with MP3 unit compatable fantastic little he his a sports coach and travells around alot so he needs miles per gallon he got ove 540 miles oer tank of dealsel his other fiester {petrol} dod nothing like and it was a { 1.4} Very comfortable in back as in front with the sporty seats. Having owned this car for 3 years ive had no serious problems with it. Good mid-range performace from the 1.6 litre engine which produces about 100 horsepower. More than enough for town use.
