Advantages: comfortable, economical, spacious Disadvantages: Has a Ford badge on the front
Well, here we are, after nearly a year, my new company car has arrived, or rather, I had to go and collect it from Bristol. It is a diesel engined focus CMax 1.6 TDCI Style.
The Style is one of the cheaper versions but is more than acceptable in terms of comfort and equipment.
It is going to be my home from home for the next four working years so I hope I chose wisely.

It's my workplace; does anyone else have to pay tax to sit in an office, factory or shop? I think not! Advantages: Good nippy little car. Disadvantages: Few little dificulties
This is a briilian first car for young drivers. It has the speed and style to make it acceptable and acciting for a yound driver but also has good saftey standards and is soundly built making it safe as well as cool. This car was registered in September 2005 (55 plate) and I bought it in April 2006 with just under 10,000 miles on the clock. The fuel consumption readout was 36mpg, but the car had been used as a rental car so I reset the readout. Initially ... ...a further 11,000 miles.
It's very reliable, as a new car should be. Performance when you push it is fantastic, and noise levels are very low except for road noise on poorly surfaced roads. The Sony MP3/CD player is very good. There are a few rattles/buzzes from around the rear side panels and speakers. A rattle from the headliner was fixed by dealer soon after purchase, as were loose driver's seat mountings, but this feels like it's working loose ...

Advantages: Very roomy. Good layout of controls. Great for storage space Disadvantages: Acceleration can be slower than 1.8.Parking brake needs getting used to!
...its clarity is excellant. The ford version is nice but you have to have it loud to hear the music properly. This way you can listen and still talk. In the glovebox is a aux jack point which you can plug a mp3 etc in and listen. Who needs a 6 disc cd changer!
We recently went to Costco and I was amazed how much went in the boot. Usually the seats need folding down (which is very simple to do on the C-Max) but there was no need.
you can easily remove ... ...the middle seat folds away and the outer two move back and across. you do lose a bit of boot space but its worth it. With 17" wheels and tinted glass on the sides and rear as extras it looks a very elegant car. It would be nice to see new cars come with DAB radio now but its not too bad. A galaxy is a better MPV but with only one child and another on the way this is a perfect small MPV. I am still finding more equipment every day! ...

I find the Ford Focus CMAX 1.6 TDCi Trend to be an excellent all round car. The driving position suits both my wife and myself, with enough adjustment for both of us. Fuel economy is quite remarkable, if you drive with that in mind. Most of our journeys are 3 miles to town cold, and 3 miles back on twisty undulating roads. Not economical driving conditions, and the car returns around 40 mpg. On long runs it returns around 60 mpg. If you want a bit ... ...is clever, and would accomodate 4 adults fine. I bought this as a replacement for a Focus estate, and I do prefer it. I stuck to the Focus because the last one never went wrong, and I hope this one doesn't either. I can't really fault it, but if I had to, I'd say that I don't really like it's looks. ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Not being told the Truth.
...at all pleased with my Ford Focus.
I have the Ford Focus Estate L.X model. it has A 16ltr Engine with an Automatic gear box 4 speed. I bought the car straight from the Manufactures. the Problems that I had were,Unbelievable. I had problems from day one.
Here are the Problems that I had with the Ford company.
(1) I ordered the car back in 2006 in January I was supposed to have picked it up from that date but I was told that I was unable to have ... ...you can tell, I am not Very well pleased with the Ford Group at the moment. In fact I may not Even have another car with them. As for the Ford Focus C-Max I can-not comply,But if it is anything like the Ford Focus Estate L.X. then Best of LUCK. ...
