    Advantages Advantages Modern, Spacious, Fast

Disadvantages Disadvantages Er, expense, if I must think of one

Introduction ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ I do not own this car, but it was lent to me for the day by a dealership whilst then were servicing my mother's Ford Focus. She had forgotten her driving licence so they let me have the car so I could drive my mother home. For the previous week I had been fretting about moving a washing machine up at my student accommodation and the current plan was to ride up there on my bike and somehow get someone with a van to help me move the washing machine. However, on returning home we noticed that the boot of the car was very spacious, and, having no lip (like an estate car or ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very Comfortable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Haven't found any

I own a Ford Fusion 2 1.4i and let me tell you it's the best car i've ever had. It comes in a wide range of colours and, unlike some companies, you don't pay extra for black/metallic paint. The engine is very smooth and reliable, it does exactly what you want when you want it to, and you know that it has enough poke to get you out of trouble if needed. It corners well, holding the road like glue, and the power assisted steering makes it a dream to drive. The braking system is wonderful, it will stop on a sixpence as my mum used to say. Because the seating area is higher off of the ground it is ... more

Advantages Advantages The big small car

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Road noise

I love my car. I actually only bought this because the Fiesta would have to come from the factory and I could have this one within a couple of weeks. How lucky I was. This car really is not that much bigger that the Fiesta from the outside, however on the inside it becomes a tardis. There is plenty of room for five people - the three in the back don't all have to be tiny, normal sized is fine. The leg room is great, even for my husband who is over 6ft. The boot is huge and holds all my shopping easily, however for those extra bulky loads the back seats fold completely flat, as does the front ... more

Advantages Advantages roomy, cheap to run, reliable

Disadvantages Disadvantages no good if you want to be one of the cool kids

I bought this car in late Jan 2004, it has lots of interior space, for a Fiesta sized car it has almost Focus space inside it. Thoroughly modern with very comfortable seats. Purchased in preference to a Focus because of the lower boot entry height for my dogs. It has 3 point belts on all 3 rear seats, which was great for the school run. It has a clutch-less gearbox which is very smooth and returns 38mpg. I was initially wary about buying a new 'untried' model, but was soon delighted with it. It has are air con, remote central locking, electric front windows, CD Player, heated front and rear ... more

Advantages Advantages Plenty of room and comfort, excellent value and durability

Disadvantages Disadvantages Dull looking for some tastes

The Fusion is based upon the Fiesta but feels more like a Galaxy inside. It's a very deceptive car in appearance, it looks like a 4x 4, until you stand next to it ! It's only a couple of inches taller than the Fiesta. It looks similar to the Fiesta, until you get inside, then it's like they put in an extra room. There is excellent head and leg room in the front and in the rear as well, and forget anything you've heard about the boot, there's bags of room, and no lip means you don't have to hurt your back lifting things over it. This is a dedicated five seater, not one of those everybody squash ... more

    Advantages Advantages looks, spacious, handlind

    Disadvantages Disadvantages power, acceleration

We recently bought this car. Its a pleasure driving this car. Its 68 bhp, not so much but its value for money. The engine is same as ford fiesta, so the pick up is similar but fiesta's little better because of its shape. Its a spacious vehicle. Its higher model has got ABS and airbags. with side mirrors painted with same color as the car. Its got hydraulic steering wheel which is heavier than usual power steerings but has an advantage that grips the wheels better on high speed. It has got satisfactory good looks. I will give good ratings to its suspension. It has got nice ground clearance ... more

    4 Stars Quick review of Ford Fusion 2 1.4i 16v Durashift EST 5dr by Elisabeth48 11/07/2007
Excellent if you have a disabled passenger - boot space is big enough for a wheelchair or walker, seats are high and the cabin easy to get in and out of, even for those with reduced mobility.

Advantages Advantages Easy to use being both Automatic and Manual

Disadvantages Disadvantages The Wind when driving makes it feel like a high sided lorry.

Don't get me wrong I like my Ford Fusion 2 with it's Air Conditioning Automatic and Manual Gear box. However the Interior is shoddy. Plastic in the footwells keeps falling out. As well as the glove department catch keeps coming loose. All within a car that is just past 1 year's old. One thing that really is annoying is that if a back seat passenger opens a window whilst driving you get a horrible feeling in your ears worse than if you were on a plane. Now this is my first car and I don't know if it happens in other peoples cars. However it hasn't happened in family or friends cars. The Ford ... more

Advantages Advantages dual gearbox makes this the easiest car i have ever driven

Disadvantages Disadvantages slight diffuculty in storing wheel chair in boot

i recently obtained a new ford fusion 2 dualtec 1.4 and it is easily the best car i have ever owned, the dual gear box makes driving this vehicle effortless and as i am disabled and unable to drive a manual car this unique gearbox enables me to have advantages of manual and the ease of an auto. i also find the car very economical but with enough power and acceleration to suit my needs. i strongly recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for a new car thats cheap and easy to drive. my wife is currently learning to drive she found our old car (rover 600) very difficult to get to grips ... more
