...purchased a 2nd hand 2005 Ford Galaxy TDI from a used car supermarket. In comparison to other models of this class, the Galaxy is head and shoulders above the rest. Why did we chose the Galaxy? Well, put simply - you get a lot more for your money. Yes the other rivals like Zafira and Sharan are also 7 seaters, a little bit cheaper and so on but in my opinion you get what you pay for - and the Galaxy is perfect proof of this. ...going into details of Henry Ford and how he earn't all his millions. I'm also not going into detail of all the mechanics of the vehicle. I haven't a clue how to change an oil filter or what the ins and outs of a breaking system should be . ...only take it to a ford garage as they are the only ones with a diagnostics machine for ford, it costs £88 just to hook it up to that then extras for what ever wants fixing, so it can be expensive to fix, but its the same with any ford i think. It also has space for a fridge in the back if you only have 6 seats in, there is a cigarette lighter in the back which we have put a inveter on, (that sorts the voltage out,) then we can put any electrics ...

I've owned a Galaxy 1.9tdi (130ps) for 18 months now. The car is a 'fully loaded' Ghia with every extra such as Multimedia, Satalite Navigation, Leather etc. The plus points? Well there can be no doubt that these easily outweigh the negative ones. Fuel economy, comfort, reliability, specification and overall practicality are excellent. I usually get around 40mpg on motorway driving. All the family like the comfort and drive of the car, the kids ...

Purchased the car in 2002 with 49500 miles on the clock . It had some major problems before it left the dealer but they put it straight and a was happy with the car for the first year. I was getting 440 - 450 miles out of a tank and acheived over 510 miles per tank after using Cataclean fuel additive. Started to notice the interior wasn't holding up to wear and tear to well. Most irratating was the speaker grille covers cracking at the slightest ...

Well this is the Third Ford galaxy I have had spanning back to the first model that was introduced to the market place, The basic phenomenon hasnt changed of providing a MPV that drives like and looks like a car not a van as so many do. It is very adaptable and flexible for all types of uses if all the rear seats are taken out-which is very easy to do-it has a huge capacity and can easily hold a double bed or suite of furniture as I have done it! We have owned this car for a year now and the advantage outway the disadvantages. Although the rear seats of heavy and I am unable to lift them out compared to the Trajet they are light. To able able to have a car full of kids all being able to sit in their own full car seats or booster seats without having to squash fingers trying to get the seat belts done up is just heaven and then also to be able to put a couple of bags of shopping on top of ...
