I've had my ST24 for more than a year now and all in all it's not a bad car. The model I have is the estate version which itself is quite rare because if your going to buy a ST24 2.5 V6 you will probably be expecting a 'fast/sporty' car and opt for the saloon or hatchback. This cars intension is a work horse, when the seats fold down you have near enough a flat 6 foot length and the height is a great advantage for fitting larger more bulky objects. ...

I have owned a v6 Mondeo for over a year now. I find it comfortable and easy to drive. It’s also fun at the lights when you leave unsuspecting BMW drivers in your wake. This car is not a sports car but it is fast enough for a bit of fun. This is a heavy car therefore don’t expect too much. It is also expensive to run in my experience you can expect no more than 34mpg, and when pushed expect that to drop to less than 23mpg. Insurance ...

I bought this Ford Mondeo 24v Ghia X over a year ago. Having previously owned both the 1.6 and 1.8 hatchbacks I thought this would just be another Mondeo. How wrong I was, this is luxury motoring at a fraction of the cost. Anyone who likes speed with comfort and relatively low running costs will benefit from owning this type of car. Bought one 18 months ago, then not quite 3 years old for £6K, imac condition, 80,000 miles thought it high at the time but we've had 20k on top, all trouble free. Bit pricey to insure but shop around and even in the city 900 quid buys you fully comp. Loads of fun to drive, best at 5,000 rpm when it sounds great. 60 is had in uner 8 secs, still feels confident at 140, 30mpg on reg lead free. All this with 5 reals seats, air traction, recaro's...... ...
