Ford Orion 1.4

Thr Ford Orion is basically an 1980's Ford Escort with a boot. Thats nto to say its bad, just that its average with a boot. As Ford stopped making Orions some time ago you won't be able to purchase one new, so you'll obviously be looking at getting a second hand one. Mine has done 67,000 relatively trouble free miles in 14 years, and, while slightly rusting in places, is still structurally sound. Recent problems i've encountered have been: Key so worn that it no longer operated the locks, but my local Ford Dealer were very helpful and gave me another key free of charge. We bought our ford orion back in 1996, it was 3 years old and basicly brand new. The dealer we bought it from, tryed selling us a dodgy rubbish rover 400 which really didnt do it for us so we drove it round the round about and back to the dealership We decided to buy the orion because of better fuel economy from the 75 bhp1400 cvh engine and its family friendly desighn. It was always reliable and kept in like new condition as it was my dads baby. Soon thou, he bought a peugeot 406 and sold this orion to our grand parents which became a second car for them.
