Fray Bentos Steak & Ale Pie

I am a lover of simple food. Pies form a part of my staple diet - at least two per week - and as far as I'm concerned, nothing quite hits the spot like a good pie, with steak and ale my personal fave. Yet, before now, I had never tried a Fray and Bentos pie. I am a student, and the "convenience" of a pie in a tin, plus some rave reviews from amongst others my Dad, left me intrigued enough to buy two for £1 each at Asda. First off, I love pies.. And as of yet I haven't come across a pie which is as crispy on top and tasty in the middle as fray bentos pies. They have a huge selection of different flavours: Just steak, steak and kidney, chicken and mushroom, chicken curry, steak and ale, steak and mushroom, minced beef and onion, steak with free veg and more! They taste great and you can really taste the ale in this flavour which i like because i find other pies which are steak and ale are really just steak!
