My kitten/cat loves this food. He is now 7 months old and I feed him the dry kitten food as a treat - otherwise I have moved him on to 'normal' tinned cat food. The pieces of the kitten variety are much smaller than adult dry food which make it easier for the kittens to eat and swallow. It advised on the back to try them purely with that so we did for a while but our cat used to run into the kitchen if we opened a tin of beans, so we gathered he must be missing his tinned food and gave him a mixture of both.
