Walking where the rain isnt
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by

Advantages: Great read
Disadvantages: A wee bit long
...lives and will keep jumping from one person`s story to the next, so unless you follow it closely you`ll forget what`s happened in the last chapter.
However I love this type of writing style because it will leave one person`s life with something gripping about to happen, then move onto the life of somebody different, making you read really fast till the story gets back to the previous person and you can pick up where you left off. What makes this ...

One Of His Best
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by
Staggly
Advantages: One of the best of his works
Disadvantages: Not long enough!
...most part he’s good), but From The Corner Of His Eye was better than I could of hoped.
First off, anyone who plans to pick this up, PLEASE don’t read the synopsis on the jacket of the book. It doesn’t really tell the story, just points out a major event that occurs over halfway through the book and you are just waiting for it to happen.
Without giving too much away the story is basically a group of people going about their ...

A superb novel
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by
LukeCroll
Advantages: Will appeal to any Koontz fan
Disadvantages: Very long
...his eyes to save him from cancer. However, at thirteen, he becomes able to see again. A roller coaster and a seagull both have something to do with this miracle, as does Barty’s desire to make his mother proud of him before she dies. The odd thing is that she has already died once – the day Barty was born.
The cover blurb for this novel is certainly one of the most interesting blurbs I have seen in a long time and it goes hand in hand ...

Advantages: Return to classic Koontz
Disadvantages: None
...the full (he’s got this from reading self-help improvements books by a guy called Dr Caesar Zedd). Unfortunately Junior has taken this to the extreme, and started to kill people (mainly due to the fact that he believes he is intelligent, very handsome – irresistible to women in fact – and that he can literally get away with murder). You then get to meet Barty (Bartholomew Lampion). You meet him by meeting his parents first, Agnes and Joey and Mr Koontz ...

Great holiday reading
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by
Skywriter
Advantages: Compulsive page-turner
Disadvantages: You could be up all night reading it
...might be able to move from one such universe to another. It’s hardly a new idea, and yet Koontz gives it a freshness and scientific plausibility.
Is ‘From the Corner of His Eye’ Koontz’s best book to date? I wouldn’t go that far. To my mind his best are the ‘Moonlight Bay’ novels, ‘Seize the Night’ and ‘Fear Nothing’. The quality of writing in these is mesmerising, and to anyone ...

Dean koontz - Creative writing at its best.
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by
supersue123
Advantages: A good read - hard to put down
Disadvantages: Bit of an anti-climax
...idea of many worlds sprung from our choices and decisions that we make in life. The simple description of the tree being ingenious and so clear. A lovely read, altough sometimes sad, but none the less, one of his best works. Slightly disappointed at the end with such a quick climax to the story and disposal of the "villian" Would have been nice to get an insight in to the land of bugs!! ...

From the Corner of his eye, Dean Koontz
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by
muffinandsam
Advantages: Will keep you entertained for hours
Disadvantages: You won't want to put it down
This is the one book that has stayed in my mind for years and I can read over and over again. Dean Koontz has a way of keeping you mesmorised for hours. This book has been written in a way that only Dean Koontz can do, and its impossible to describe and I'd highly recommend reading this book.
It is about an 8 year old boy who has lost his Dad, but isn't sad about losing his Dad because he is able to step between 'worlds' and in another 'world' his ...

Quantum theory can overcome everything
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by
sfxartist
Advantages: Heart felt, well written and hopeful
Disadvantages: a bit silly, and liable to rot your teeth
...of wise men and produced From The Corner Of His Eye.
it was a different turn for the writter whose work has always been tinged with a basic desire for hope in all situations. Here the hope for the goodness in humanity is turned up a notch, where if we believe in someone as good as Bart and his mother we can also believe in the good of others.
That all sounds a bit saccarine and the more I re-read it the more suggary it becomes but at the heart ...

A great read!
Review of From The Corner Of His Eye - Dean Koontz by
pink603
Advantages: Insight into the human phykey.
Disadvantages: It's quite long
I read this novel about 1 year ago, the story struck me right away, The way Koontz describes the character's thoughts and feelings was as if you were right there with them. Vivid story telling helps this incredible story along. One particular chapter was very detailed, one of the main character's was in a car accident she thought she was going to die. What she saw what she thought was so real it almost brought me to tears. There are many points in ...
