Advantages Advantages Original theme, Slicing, Addictive

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quickly drains your batter

This game is rather addictive and will definitely be in love within one minute of playing. The title of this game really sums up the whole point of the game. First the price is only 59p and is well worth the money to spend on a game. You can purchase this through iTunes on laptop or even on your iPod touch/iPhone directly. I am sure you guys already know that the installation is simple enough. All you need to do is input your account details and wait a few minutes to load. Once you enter the game, it loads onto a landspace view which makes the slice even easier to do, I can’t imagine playing ... more

Advantages Advantages Simple yet addictive gameplay; incredible value; quite impressive graphics and sound.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Lack of difficulty options to choose from; beating high-scores sometimes involves luck.

Games like Fruit Ninja – good fun in short bursts – don’t often attract me as I enjoy console gaming but from all the great things I’d heard about it and the 69p price made me decide that I had nothing to lose, except some change of course. After several hours of playing I’m extremely glad that I bought this. It’s very addictive and offers a great deal of value. So if you have an iPhone/Pad or Android and have a few coins in your pocket, buy it now – it’s guaranteed to offer you a load of fun, even if it isn’t normally your kind of game. Gameplay The concept of Fruit Ninja is simple – use your ... more

Advantages Advantages Fantastic gameplay, decent price.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

Fruit Ninja is an application for the iPhone which can be purchased from the App store for just 59p and my initial reason for purchasing this was that is has been sitting consistently high in the various charts for apps in the store. I reasoned that it must be good otherwise word would have spread and people would have stopped downloading by now. The aim of the game is to chop up fruit with a large machete to obtain combinations of different fruits and multiple items to earn bonus points. When you load the application you simply swipe across the screen to chop the fruit in half to start a new ... more

Advantages Advantages Entertaining, simple, superb graphics, crisp controls

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Somewhat limited gameplay

Introduction ‘Chopping wood, chopping wood, I’m chopping wood’ - this is what a contestant (lunatic?) recently proclaimed on the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent. He was (quite rightly) looked at like a bit of a loser, because lets face it - watching someone slice things up isn’t particularly entertaining is it? What if you were in his shoes though? If my new addictive iPhone app is anything to go by, you’ll be collecting your machete and heading off to the Britain’s Got Talent auditions to show the world this - Fruit Ninja… who’s the loser now eh? An App To Be Proud Of Fruit Ninja is one ... more

Fruit Ninja iphone Application I find myself playing some crazy games sometimes and more often than not these seem to have no point to them yet still be utterly addictive and compelling to play. This Fruit Ninja game is just that and I can’t seem to get enough of it. For a mere 59p from the App store this is one of the very first games that I purchased when I got my new iphone and one that I haven’t got rid of, unlike so many other games I have downloaded. I do remember not really wanting to pay out at all for any games but really 59p isn’t going to break the bank is it? So I hear you asking ... more

I bought the game 'Fruit Ninja; a couple of weeks ago for my iPod touch. I love it and think it's an excellent choice for anyone who wants to buy any games for their iPhone/iPod, so here is my review! First off the game costs 59p, definitely worth this small sum as it provides hours of entertainment and is a good quality game. I don't buy many apps and I chose this one as it had high ratings and was at number 2 in the 'top 25' section of the game centre, number 1 being 'Angry Birds' which I already had! The great thing about this game is how simple, yet addictive it is. When you first go on ... more

Advantages Advantages Simple pick up and play, addictive, fun

Disadvantages Disadvantages You can waste a lot of time on it.

From the murky depths of Apple App Store there seems to be a phenomenon rising up to the surface and dominating the Top 25. And yes, it is another completely useless application, such as DoodleJump (See review), that provides hours and hours of endless entertainment. According to Half Brick (The creators of Fruit Ninja) the major threat and enemy to your average ninja is not evil or any of the usual candidates, but fruit. Hence the game, Fruit Ninja. Fruit Ninja is a simple game you can purchase from the App Store for the very reasonable price of £0.69. The basic, well actually the whole ... more

Advantages Advantages Great fun, cheap as chips, squelchy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited in single player

There are loads of 59p games in the App store, some good, some not so good, but this is a corker. The game does exacty as the title suggests - you are a Ninja who slices Fruit. This is done by using your finger in a slashing motion to slice the fruit as it is thrown onto the screen. The controls are really basic but work so well - you never feel that the action is anything other than the finger movement you have just performed. The graphics are really solid as well, and the sliced fruit spins away in two halves leaving a spray of juice behind, with a very satisfying squelching sound. The game ... more

Advantages Advantages This is a good game to kill time with.

Disadvantages Disadvantages This game can get boring.

This game is definitely worth playing if you are a game- junkie. It is currently available on the iPhone and the Android Market. This game can get boring if you don't get into it right away. This game seems fairly mundane, and most people don't like that in a game. Personally I like the fact that you just have to do the same thing over and over again. This allows you to pass time trying to see if you can compete against yourself. If you are in the waiting room at a hospital, or if you are just stuck home on a rainy day- give this game a try. I believe (though don't hold me to it) this game is ... more

    Advantages Advantages Addictive, Simple, Exciting.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited, Too Easy

This is a very fun and addicting game. What mostly love about it is it's simpleness. Even though there's no levels nor storyline on it, it still as addicting and gets you hooked automatically. Not to mention the amount of fruits you slash is counted and you can easily challenge your friends with your score. Even with it's simpleness, you can be creative and it can easily be a competitive game. The bombs that come out, which you are supposed to avoid, adds action, which helped. The "but" part is because of its limit, well on the free version. The paid is most likely a lot better but with the ... more
