The auto-focus is centred so as long your subject is not off centre you're not likely to get an out of focus shot. There's always the option of first focusing on the subject in the centre by depressing the shutter half way and then moving the camera and taking the shot. Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: not the best pictures

I have owned the camera for about a year now, it take nice clear pictures with its 8 megapixels and it 3 x zoom, the only problem i find with the camera is that the battery doesn't last very long, so you have to keep changing them. It also doesn't take the best pictures indoors, Due to light, you would have to open window and mae sure the light are on inside.
