I received this camera as a Christmas present from my hubby, after shying away from many other cameras as they were too complex! I wanted a real point and shoot design, with no fiddly menus to navigate, but also something that would take great photos in low light (pub, evenings out etc). Receiced this camera last christmas and haven't stopped using it! It's light and small so I can take it everywhere with me. It has good battery life and good memory space. I've taken some of my best pictures with this camera and would definitely recommend this to someone who has a casual interest in photography or is a beginner.
