Its previous model, the FinePixS602, still is a popular model, although it is not found in the present assortment of Fujifilm anymore. The consumer fell for this digital camera that has the features of a digital reflex camera integrated in a compact and light design. The nice 6x optical zoom range and the various settings made the FinePixS602 a straight hit. This status made it difficult for Fujifilm to continue with this success. ...Having replaced my FujiS5500 with the FujifilmFinePixS6500fd, I was a little taken aback at the controls and the size of the owners manual.
The quality of the photos are totally outstanding and it has 10mb of internal memory, nice touch. but no supplied XD card, I guess a trade off has to be made somewhere.
The large LCD screen makes taking pics easier and coupled with the automatic face detection it helps to ensure that the faces are by and large in focus.
There is a large range of presets and there is the manual mode where the user can, if they know what to do, can achieve professional quality images with ease. Some may not like using the manual zoom, some will love it. I am in love with te entire package.
The menus are well laid out and easily accessible.
Overall I am extremely happy with the camera and I am still learning...

...This is a vary Good camera i got mine for £55s from Asda in the sale last June well worth it also have the s5600 Zoom it is great for taking those candid shots.. Fuji also have a website for Fuji cameras and you can enter a monthly comp you must own a fuji camera though ..i still use it when site seeing and its great for when your out and about
if i was to say anymore on this camera i would say i compare the pics to the fujis5600 and you can not tell the diference in Quality
photographs if you want to see are on myspace facebook and other sites ..private message me and i am happy to send you links you can not tell any diference between this and sauy a cannon...
