I bought this camera about a year ago to replace an elderly 2MP camera. Being a student I was on a budget, so did not want to spend too much, yet I do like photography and wished for something a little more than basic. I am also a transport enthusiast, so wished for a camera that could take good...

Noisy zoom on video.

The Fuji FinePix S1500 is not the latest model of the FinePix range of bridge cameras, but having been toying with the idea of getting something that offered a bit more than point and shoot, and not wanting to pay over £200 for it, I decided on this model after reading many good reviews from...

Doesn't come with rechargeable battery

I bought this camera a couple of months ago and I am extremely pleased with it. It has a 12x optical zoom which is fantastic. (I did alot of research when I bought this camera and the biggest optical zoom I could find for a similar price was 4x.) I love taking pictures of wildlife and it has been...

The Fuji FinePix S1500 is the latest incarnation of the very successful FinePix S1000fd. It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just...

easy to use, light weight, and very functional

low zoom level, no other attachments

I was got this camera when I was first starting my photography attraction, and found that it worked absolutely great for my armature needs and photography skills. If you are looking for a great starting camera but if you are already a skilled and experienced photographer then I would not...

“Surprising little gadget”

Excellent optical zoom

Not compact

After deep consideration, I finally decided to purchase this camera after months of searching for a device with good MP and decent zoom. As a person new to photopgraphy, I found this camera very easy to handle and work. I recently took it on a class trip to Paris and found very little faults...

I've had this camera for almost a year and all photo's I have taken really have been good quality. It is a good camera for begginers as you can leave settings as they are of you can adjust things like shutter speed and iso ect. for the more advanced users. The options to shoot in high speed mode...

I got the Fijifilm Finepix S1500 for my birthday after a friend recomended it to me. She is a very good photographer and wants to become professional. I would personally suggest this would be for someone who wants to aspire to be a photographer and would like to take advanced photos without them...

10 MP camera

No Changeable Lenses

This camera in my Opinion is one of the best Pre - DSLR cameras I have ever used. The image quality on this camera really is amazing. It is so easy to use and can be easily operated without any Pre-Photographic Knowledge . The camera has an Auto Focusing lens which means your not messing about...

“A nice little neat camera!”

published 07/01/2012

Easy to use, Auto Focus

Lacks Advanced Controls

This was my first bridge Camera which I bought as I wanted to step up from the original Point-and-shoot up to a bigger camera. I got it out off Tesco for £149.99 which was pretty cheap as when I got home I checked up and amazon and other big retailers were selling it for alot more. At the time I...

Question

published 24/04/2010

when viewing my photos I get some with error 'read error/write error is this the card ?
Open question Answer

Answer

published 11/07/2012

if you have transferred the images to a different device or altered the picks orientation on the card this can cause this error as can a dodgy card, if you have got a spare try that alternately back up the images and reformat the card using a computer with a suitable card slot.
