I got one of these as a present for xmas. It's fantastic. As soon as the package arrives you can't for the life of you believe that it is sold at that price. Everything about the camera really dose ooze quality for how much you pay for one. A nice matte plastic covers the entire camera, with a soft rubber grip for your shooting hand. I have never owned a digital camera before, I was given this as a gift and I don't know much about all the fancy technical stuff! I find it really simple to use. It is light and the shape makes it easy and comfortable to hold. I am not an experienced photographer but I have taken some amazing really professional looking pictures with it. I bought this camera from QVC for £199.99 but I returned it as I was disappointed by:- Bad purple fringing in bright light, over exposed flash pictures despite it's "intelligent flash", above 200 iso detail was poor on low contrast subjects such as fur and photos on LCD were difficult to see if they were sharp. Good points:- As the price has come down a bit it is a bargain for a (large) point and shoot with the option to play with manual settings, aperture and shutter priority. It's easy to use, large LCD, has good colour reproduction, video mode, lightweight 306g and compact, takes XD & SD cards (2GB limit), runs on 4 AA batteries with good battery life.
