    Advantages Advantages fine grain, fast speed

    For those times when you need a colour film with fast speed (when you can't use flash or don't want to) fujipress 800 is the film. This film has a very fine grain even though it's fast speed, I see no difference from a normal 400 speed film. As most fuji-films it works well in mixed light (such as natural-, tungsten- and electronic-flash- light) and I have almost never experienced any colour-casts with this film. The colours are very natural, so if you want very saturated and bright colours I would not recommend this film. Otherwise I would say that this is the perfect film for photo ... more

    Advantages Advantages Crisp images under poor conditions, deep saturation and warmth

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not using appropriate settings, or a bad developing lab.

    Ok - so I'm about to stick my neck out in the global world of snapping, but hey you've gotta do it sometime right?? Working with an Internationally reknowned photojournalist, who literally goes to war and back, it is always a pleasant sensation when editing to see deep rich colours, vibrant rich imagery in poor to dark conditions, without the use of a flash. The quality of the imagery produced with the Fuji 800 is outstanding. Reminiscent of the Velvia 100, the depth and saturation offered, along with clarity of imagery is fantastic.
