    Advantages Advantages Easy to carry, easy to use; high quality pictures easily downloaded to your PC; xD "Flash" Memory Card or 8MB resident in camera; can be used as a webcam; battery usage economical

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Must use USB cable to access on-camera pictures; as with many digital cameras: action shots are often blurred; uses 2 AA batteries

    I bought this last year, spur of the moment, I needed a camera to take some holiday photos, wasn’t disappointed, found it in the catalogue on the plane I was on at the time, heading for America (Florida). BOX OPENING Well I opened the box to find surprise-surprise a digital camera; it came with a USB link to connect the camera to my PC and the software for the camera so I was successfully able to hook up with my computer.     This camera is good for people who want to take good quality photos at an affordable price. It is 2.0 megapixel and has plenty of features such as a video mode and macro (close up) mode as well as a flash. The pictures in good daylight are amazing quality and you can choose from sizes: 640, 1280, 1600 and 1600F. In the dark, the flash illuminates the area you are shooting very well, although it is quite blinding when used on people. There is a carry strap which fits around your neck leaving plenty of room to still take pictures. With the 8mb inbuilt and a 16mb XD card inside you can take ... more

    I bought this camera for an expedition to Alaska. Knowing Alaska, there is many wildlife and scenary. This camera captured every bit of the scenary and I was able to print out pictures while in Alaska. This 2.1 mega pixal camera is perfect for taking shots of scenary and wildlife. It is small and very easy to use. The digital screen isabout 1" in width and pictures show up very well. It is a camera that suits people who are not into serious photography as it wouldnt be up to their standard of picture quality.     I bought this camera mainly because of the original funky design but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and simple it is to use. I didn't really need to look at the manual to discover how to take pictures effectively. I've taken this camera everywhere with me, festivals, holidays, days out and parties and always taken good quality photos. For ease of use this camera is definitely a bargain.     This is an excellent first time camera and is very reasonably priced. The photos produced are of excellent quality and the menu is very easy to use. The camera can also make short films which you can freeze at any point allowing "action shots" to be created. Due to the relatively low price of this camera it also feels safe to take on a night out. The only problems are that it does not have a case and can get a little grubby and also at night you just have to guess where your subjects are because the viewfinder is pitch black!     The Q1 is a compact, stylish and light. However do not let this fool you. Though it has great features such as 2mp or a visual screen on the back so you can see what you are taking a picture off, if you are the type of person you is perfectly capable of not dropping this camera then i advise you to buy it, however i have a little funny ancedote about my Q1. I had it for 4 days and took it out of the box twice.....did not drop it or throw it yet somehow is freezes and does not work. i was so pleased that my new camera did absoulutely nothing at all...........so if you want a camera for ... more
