Very good laptop for the money, decent specs, runs sluggish due to low ram, would recommend adding another 256mb/512mb DDR2 stick, not really up to playing games due to old technology graphics (no pixel shader or hardware T&L) dvd's play very clear, fantastic for web browsing and listening to music (speakers a bit tinny, very good through headphones). Have had good experiences with this laptop. No extra features, no bloatware pre-installed on the ...
...only gripe with that is there is no dvd codec so you need to install a third party dvd player (lots of free ones found on the internet). Not managed to use the wireless internet yet but does pick up a lot of signals around here. Battery lasts 1 hour 12 minutes normally, listening to music/having wireless on takes it down to around 50 minutes, overall brilliant laptop, deffinately recommend unless you want to play games. This is the best laptop ever! Great performance and very good support for the open source platforms like Linux. The only pitty is that there was issues with ACPI and Linux(Slackware Linux had a problem controlling the RPM of the fan). It's got very fast memory(ddr2) and a nice big TFT screen.
