I have recently seen this computer and tried to do some stuff on it and my opinios is that it is not bad for the price. Excellent computer to do some stuff like writing, printing, making presentations, unpacking or packing archives and other office works. I recommend this product to the office because of the Core 2 Duo from Intel in combination with a 1GB RAM. The original keyboard and the mouse are cheap, so I recommend you to buy a keyboard+mouse set. If you want to play some newer games on it, forget, because this type is adapted to the office.

To be honest the Siemens ESPRIMO is obviously not one of the best computers on the market. Any one can see that but for the price it really isnt a half bad computer. £222 this is around half the price that you would have to pay for a laptop of this pcs calibre. Although i found the amonut of RAM was not enough at 1 GB and perhaps the 1.8ghz processor wasnt the fastest but all of these things can be updated and upgraded. This computer though is not ... The first problem was the faulty drivers disk. You would think a quick phonecall and a replacement would be sent - wrong. First send your proof of purchase, wait a week for it to arrive, phone again, wait another week. For a disk which costs pennies it cost me pounds in calls. And if you write to complain they ignore you. The motherboard has also been replaced twice in a month, it's slow but it works. Not very promising is it. And don't write to the CEO about the poor service and £20 in phone calls, service doesn't matter to him, he will ignore you.
