I bought the Funai 31 B-250 about three years ago, and in that time, it has only been used for about 2 months, then put in the cupboard! I've since put it back into use recently, as my only other option was the old Alba one which works, but the flap has snapped off. It comes with a remote, which looks a little bland, but has the controls you need. It is only a 2 head, which means it won't play as good quality as a 4 head, and the difference was evident when I compared video quality from the Funai 2 head with my 1990's Granada VCR 4 head - The Granada won!
