...in them was "two different" ghd spray's, one was in a small mainly gold coloured bottle. It was for heat protection and the other was in "a deep purple coloured bottle" and it was for holding hair in place,"similar to a hair spray." They both smelt very nice and did what they were meant to very well. There was also a small dvd and a book full of details about the straighteners. I was so pleased, and i didn't get them until Christmas because my mum ... ...my straighteners, also from the ghd range "were fabulous" and they worked exceptionally well. ...a user of the MK4 GHD for a month now and I have thoroughly enjoyed straightening my hair with this product.

...a shiny new pair of GHD Mk 4 straighteners. I wish I hadn't waited so long!
These babies heat up in about 30 seconds, giving you a quick beep so you know they're hot, rather than having to watch out for a light. They get VERY hot, yet I have never burned myself on them, as every part which may come in contact with a hand, a finger or an ear stays very cool to touch. The salon length cable is very handy if you have a mirror far away from a plug socket.
... ...Bear in mind you will HAVE to use some form of heat protection on your hair, else it will frazzle, but it makes it amazingly poker straight if you do it correctly.
By this I mean sectioning your hair, working small sections at a time, and slowly gliding the straighteners through the hair.
So many people rush through this process, then complain that their hair won't stay straight! If you take your time and don't do too much at once, these GHD's ...

I received GHD Mk4 Straighteners as a gift for my birthday about 8 months ago, and I have to say these are one of the best hair straighteners on the market today. You can only however buy them from hairdressers, or online.
It came with thermal protector, and creation spray. The thermal protector helps prevent any permanent damage the exceeding heat the straighteners give off and the creation spray helps you create different styles for your hair. ... ...determine whether the heat protection actually works, but I can say the creation spray didn't really give me any benefit. It all depends which sprays you choose to accompany the straighteners, if you are interested in getting a package. I also found them both to be too oily, and the smell wasn't too appealing either.

...lucky enough to receive these GHD Mk 4 stylers for Christmas, having spent months looking longingly at them on the internet. Unfortunately, they were a luxury I could ill afford.
I previously had a cheaper, high street pair of straighteners, and thought they were OK, until of course, I used these for the first time.
Now then, about the product...
There are plenty of clever features that GHD have incorporated in these irons.
Firstly, the sleek, ... ...flicking your hair with these GHD stylers for a different look - something which I haven't got the hang of yet :)
When I got mine, it came with an instructional DVD to show you how to achieve all the different looks us girls want. Although I'm not entirely sure if this comes as standard (I'm assuming it probably does) so look out for this if you buy one.

...received a letter back from GHD saying unfortunately my guarantee had run out but they did offer me the new mk4 GHDs for £90, which was a saving of around £30. I decided to take them up on the offer. I have now had these straighteners for about a year and a half. They come with a two year guarantee so I don't have to worry about them breaking. I have learnt from my mistake about the wire as well! On first try of these straighteners I knew they were ... ...and turned them on and the straigteners beep, they then flash and then beep again when they are ready. This only takes around ten seconds so is very quick. I then separated my hair in to sections as I always do and ran the straighteners through my hair. They instantly straightened it without any need to go over that bit of hair again. I find I can straighten by hair in about 5 minutes quite well. GHD stands for Good Hair Day, but as us consumers are not all shallow sponges that suck up every last drop of these clever messages and good PR, I decided to see what all the fuss was about. I have used other straightening irons such as Revlon and Trevor Sorbet so I had a good model for comparison. My dyed blonde long locks are not exactly full of vitality due to the stresses and strains of colouring, heat damage, swimming and the effects of winter. ... ...The great thing that GHD do is give you a 2 year warranty and after this time you can send your old GHDs back in exchange for 25 percent discount. I have had my GHD's for over 5 months now, and I have to say they are brilliant! They are perfect for any type of hair, and the ceramic plates ensure a sleek, smooth hairstyle every day. They bleep once when turned on, heat up in under 30 seconds (27 ... ...which is great! With the GHD styler anything seems possible, although it does take practice create styles other than straight hair it is definitely worth it.
GHD says that these are the ''most advanced heat-styler yet'' and it has got to be said, they are right. The clever GHD's turn off their heaters after 30minutes of non-use and go to sleep - which is handy if you tend to be forgetful and greatly reduces the chance of coming home to a burnt down ...

...issues i have with the GHD is the price, which varys depending on which website you view, the price can range from £80 - £150 and the pink staightners are no different. The usual price of these is £150 of which £10 does to the breastcancer charity. I know these are the best on the market but price can put some people off especially if their old ones break!!
All in all i love my GHD's & i dont think i could now live without them - if they wernt around ...

...any other brand of straightners, GHD have gone from strength to strength over the years with many products in their range from mini and wide plated straightners and they now come in all different colours to a wide range of heat protection products.
What's more when my first pair of hair straightners died they were still in warranty, I sent them back to GHD and without any questions they sent me a new pair. So their customer loyalty is first class.
... ...create flicks, waves, curls and straight hair a lot easier than with my old pair because of the new round barrel on the Ghd's it makes them so much easier to use. There is also an adjustable temperature control and the ceramic plates have a new surface for the static free sheen look to your hair.
As a great new safety element on my Ghd's they automatically switch off if they have been left unattended for thirty minutes or more, which is fantastic ...

It is truly amazing...... heats up almost instantly to about 180c and a beep sounds to let you know it is ready to use. There is an extra-long power cable. Compared to all other straighteners which we have used the GHDs are very smooth and gentle on the hair and the results look and feel very professional. As well ... ...I really cannot recommend the GHD IV Professional Styler enough and can honestly say it is well worth the investment - after having wasted money on other inferior products. Point to note: make sure you can verify that you are buying originals which should have holograms on the straighteners themselves and on a label which is attached to the cable.
