    I always listen to Galaxy 105 in the morning on the way to work and absolutly enjoy Anthony and Jojos morning slot. They have such a natural bonding and come up with the most amusing and bizarre ways to entertain the listeners. The music is very up to date and i also like their attempt at playing a record from a decade ago some of which bring back memories. I particulary liked the competion for tickets to the Star Wars exibition in Bradford when the listeners had to ring in and do impressions of some of the characters such as Yoda, Chewbacca and R2-D2.     In my house the only radio station we listen to is galaxy, its great with top presenters and a new mix of all types of music. My favorite show on galaxy is Steve & Karen in the morning. It really wakes you up and puts you in a good mood for the day ahead. They have phone ins for competeitions and request shows e.g the net 4 at 4, this is when you vote online for your favorite songs and at 4pm the top 4 songs are played. Then you have the top 8 at 8 which is the same but at 8pm. In the mornings they have a game that they play called battle of the sexes, where girls go against the boys and see ... more

    Well, Galaxy FM sure is a good local radio stations. One of its best qualities is the ammount of dance music it plays at night. You’ll often find that radio stations (especially radio1) are a bit boring at night and it’s the time where either the obscure music or love songs come out to play. Well, not on Galaxy 105. They probably realised this and took advantage of the gap, and they have filled it well. Galaxy can be found in about 6 different parts of the country at the moment and will probably expand further.     What a brilliant radio station!! With 30 minutes non-stop of brilliant music every hour, it makes it a better radio station than most other commercial ones. The best thing about Galaxy 105/6 FM is that it is a local station, however on the weekend it joins up with all the other local galaxy stations from around the UK to become a national station. The music played is current chart music without loads of boyband stuff which is great, and for an hour each lunch time they play the old school all request lunch where listeners can phone in and request their favourite songs from the past 15 years ... more

    Galaxy is my favourite radio station of al times. (followed by radio 1 and metro). I like the way it plays both new music releases and songs from a while back. I also like the way it plays different types of music at different times, like dance at night time and so on. The only bad point about galaxy is that it has alot of adverts all the time which can get a bit boring when you put a radio station on to listen to music.     For a commercial radio station, Galaxy is good at playing music for a good proportion of every hour. There isn't too much talk and the music played is mainly dance and chart music. Throughout the day they have regular half hours where they play music none stop. The breakfast show obviously has more talk, but is usually quite entertaining and the male and female presenter bounce well off each other. Just recently they have been playing a lot of older dance music, so nostalgia as well! I would recommend Galaxy as an alternative to other local stations or to lovers of Radio 1. ... more

    Found on the dial, in the Midlands at 102.2. Galaxy Fm is the best thing that ever happened to our local radio. The D.J.'s are great, the music is bang up to date and the mixes brilliant. I particularly love breakfast time radio while on my way to work. Dave Clarke is my favourite D.J. He is also readily available for a chat on the phone or by e-mail. The Station focuses on music for the younger generation,(o.k. I admit I don't fit that catagory). The station is particularly useful for students and the crew are often turning up at colleges and universities around Birmingham. They have some ... more

    I went to this festival on Bank Holiday monday and it was GREAT!! It was completly free and was so much fun! There were bands there and here are to name just a few:- Pied Piper Ellie Campbell Mis-teeq Aaron Soul Public Domain Human Nature (yum) Hear'say and loads more!!! It was really good. who needs to pay £20 to go to the smash hits tour when you have the orange wow festival. it was on at North Shield and there was a total of 8 stages all with different types of music. i stayed at the pop music festival.     One day I listened to Galaxy all day as I was doing some work in an office. And they must have played sonic's feel so good at least once every hour sure the songs all right but after you hear it loads of times it begins to get a bit boring and repetitive. And the old skool request lunch - I don't want to hear songs from 1994 if I did I would get a old C.D. from home and put it on when I listen to the radio I want new songs or songs that are currently in the charts. ... more

    This is quite a good radio station, it has a very good line up of DJ on the air and my favorite is Adam Cole (breakfast show) he is so funny especially when he does the Benno and Gizzo phone wind ups. The rest of the station is good it has a good varation of the latest music although it tends to play the same songs on a day by day basis. Tens to attract the younger audience with the songs that it plays but even so if you are resident in the North West area of the UK try and listen to Adam Cole in the morning - it will brighten up any dull day ... more
