As there are already 30+ GAP reviews I wont go into too much detail about what GAP is but hopefully I will provide you with some helpful tips for a successful shopping trip. 1. GAP is an excellent store. The customer service is unbeatable, I have never been treated as good in any other store as I am every time I go into GAP. They sense you can't understand the American size tags, and they rush to your aid. I am made to feel like a valuable customer. ...The overall prices in GAP are a little excessive, but the sales are better than those in any other store. I recently bought some jeans for £12 and a three quarter length turquoise top for juzt £4!! Amazing! I tend to wait before I buy things now, because I know how good the sales are. GAP has to be the best shop I have ever had the fortune of coming across, and now I am addicted! (this is not sarcasm!) The clothes are excellent, and don't just follow the latest trends. I think we have all had enough of the 80's revival in Top Shop and places like that! The clothes in Gap are not cheap (but not too expensive), but hey, you get what you pay for. Shopping in Gap is therapeutic but expensive, I love shopping there and I think the products are so good quality, which probably is why they are expensive. I buy more clothes in Gap than in any other clothes shop. They make confortable, easy to wear clothes in a wide range of colours, sizes and designs. Buying trousers can be confusing because they are in American sizes. This means you need to take 4 away from your clothes size, although i take away 6 because otherwise i find that i end up with trousers that are to big for me! The customer service in all the stores i have been in has been excellent, ...
...the ease of shopping in Gap doesn't come cheap, but they always have some bargins in store. I usually steer clear of Gap simply because I find their prices too high. Most of their clothes are casual, and I don't think that £50 for a pair of casual trousers is a reasonable price when you can get them so much cheaper elsewhere. However, I have been shopping there for jeans and have found the staff to be extremely helpful.
