Advantages: Very realistic, brown tan results Disadvantages: Need to take care to avoid lines and blotches
...end, I decided to try Garnier Ambre Solaire Gloss Bronzer. To be honest, I picked it because it was the only product on sale at £4.99, originally £8.00. (The product sells at all major supermarkets and chemists.) I later thought that perhaps this was a bad choice. Surely, if it is on sale so early in the summer season that it can't be very good. Fortunately, I was wrong.
Goodbye freckled arms. Goodbye ghostly skin. Hello, glorious tan! Garnier's ... ...that as a tanning product, Garnier Gloss Bronzer does do exactly what it says. It is advised that the product is used daily until the desired shade is achieved. After that, apply the gel twice a week to maintain it. Because of my application goof, I decided not to reapply. It took a week for the tan to gradually fade away. Despite the goof, I would still highly recommend this product. Just be extra careful in applying it so you don't get lines. In ...

Advantages: instant colour, soo easy to apply Disadvantages: a little greasy
This bronzer is my second favorite fake tan. The reason it is not my first is because it does take a little time to absorb and is a little greasy.
Why i use this product:-
I mix this bronzer with moisturising cream (I use coco butter) for an even cover thats not streaky. When buying a fake tan i generally buy one with a bronzer in it, this just means that you can see it on your skin whist apply it. So you know where you have put it as there is ... ...a lovely natural looking colour the next day, but if you havent had time and you put it on, on the night you still get a nice colour from the bronzer in it. It doesnt smell bad like some fake tans and I have sensitive skin and have no problems with this bronzer.
Its not expensive and is around £8 in boots chemist. The only thing i would say bad would be that it can be a little greasy for you face, which may cause spots.
How to use:-
Firstly the ...

Quick review of Garnier Ambre Solaire Gloss Bronzer
I started using this a few months ago! generically liked it at first but after time i started to hate the smell, and the amount of time it took to go into effect. It would be more effective in some areas of the face over others and would create streaks and alot of ugly marks, which i had to go over with the product again. Generally it takes around 4 hours (don't care what they say) for it get absorbed in (during which i have a unpleasant taste in my throat and mouth from it). It lasts around a week.
Since im a guy i want to look my best, and girls started noticing the fake tan. So its obviously not doing its job! I'm currently looking for other products.. ...

Advantages: satisfactory, quick, even tan Disadvantages: strange smelling and quite blotchy and uneven if not applied properly
At £5.99 I thought it was a good value of money however I didn't find the product very effective. It made my skin very streaky and then came off instantly when wet, making me look very dodgey and i would say not very nice if you ask me. The smell is a bit whiffy and the colour is a little more bronze and shiny than wanted. But if a little bit shiny and brown is what your after well then its ok. I don't think it did itself much justice but i can't ... ...you applied it properly and smoothed it in with an even coat over your skin. It's easy to apply and to start you use a preparation scrub, you then use the self-tanning treatment. It devlops in around an hour i think but dries quickly. It contains vit. E which protects and hydrates skin. It is dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin. You can easily buy this product from any large shops or superstore's like Tesco's or Boots and Superdrug ...

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Washes off, no colour even the day after
This cost me £5.86 for 125ml which was fine. The first thing that i noticed was the smell , i just can't stand it! The gel is clear with a shiny tint which sounded alarm bells for me personally, as i have used fake tans with this consistency before and they never seem to develop, instead they just make you a bit glittery. Which is exactly what this product did. So i reapplied about 5 hours later in desperate hope ( i had planned to hit the town with ... ...hours later... i did the what i always do before i go out, even if i've fake tanned..... i had a shower! and boom, it all washed straight off. I had to turn it my instant tights in a bottle sally hansen stuff to save me, which is £10 a bottle and only lasts about two uses. Oh well...... ...
