Garnier have got this perfect, I could never say miracles can happen but if you have seen the before on my face to currently well then I can say miracles do happen with Garnier Pure A.
My skin feels and looks almost like it was when I was younger, its a great feeling and best of all I have not just found a product that actually works but it doesn't irritate my skin.
I will definitely be buying this product for as long as ...

Advantages: doesn't irritate, no over powering smell - it works for me Disadvantages: available in fewer shops, small tube
...one Saturday afternoon I spotted Garnier Pure A Daily Treatment moisturiser, and the tiny cost of £3.49 (compared to Olay at least) I thought I'd give it a go..........
----------The Packaging
In the moisturiser section of your local Boots or Superdrug (Wilko no longer stock this item) you will see perched on the shelf a lovely glossy box around 6-7 inches in height and 2 inches across with a picture of a blue tube of moisturiser and the name of ... ...won't bore you with this, but it does make the point on 3 occasions that it contains salicylic acid), how it works and instructions on how to use it.
Inside the box is a 6 inch blue tube with a white squeezy nozzle with a screw top containing 40ml of moisturiser. I love the squeezy nozzle as it doesn't blob out a load of moisturiser, so you never waste any product and it stays nice and clean.
----------The claims

Advantages: Good moisturizer for greasy skin Disadvantages: Blemish fighting ability negligible - not the primary aim of the product
...the Pure A range from Garnier would offer some pleasant results but my experiences are mixed.
**Pure A - morning cream**
A pale aqua lotion, I would not say cream as it too thin to be described as such, to be used after washing with the Garnier Pure A Deep Pore wash, followed by the Pure A toner. Has a pleasant faint smell of cucumbers, which I have found to diminish as product gets older.
It acts as an excellent moisturizer! My skin has never ... ...never recall happening before. It makes an OK base for make-up, but takes a while before it completely sinks into the skin I found. However, I did find at certain times of the month it made my skin overly greasy - but this is the problem with such products. The rest of the time I have no complaints.
**Pure A - evening gel**
This is a clear-ish gel with no discernable odour. It can go on quite sticky and sometimes be rather unpleasant, especially ...

...small tube. Theres no way Garnier would be able to fit all the info such as directions, ingredients, contact info etc on this tube. The tube is a small blue tube containing 40ml of product which retails typically at £4.48. It has a white plastic screw top. The thing i really like about this packaging is that its small enough to fit in a make up bag, weekends away and to carry around with you if you feel your skin needs a bit of tender loving care. ... ...fact that i wonder if Garnier used this product as a ploy to get consumers to buy the day and night cream when really, using the day cream in the morning and evening would probably do the trick. In conclusion, yes for make up base and yes for a good moirsturise which wont clog pores or aggrivate spots but i have yet to see a clear difference in my skin. Update soon! ...

Advantages: reduces appearance of spots and redness in 3 days Disadvantages: a little on the pricey side
...magazine saw an advert for Garnier Pure A spot crème, I thought that the man in the heavens had sent me a gift it was advertised as being able to reduce my nasty break-outs in just 3 days

Advantages: moisturises, feels nice on the skin, refreshing Disadvantages: Tingles a bit much, may sting
...across my review on the Garnier Pure Deep Pore Wash you may have noted that i am not "overly-friendly" with this moisturiser.
Reason why?
Yes it does moisturise, feels pleasant on the skin and makes skin soft, revitalized and refreshed. Now it would get star marks if its main promise was that - but it's not! It claims to leave skin soft and comfortable - i will give it that! Well that is off course after the inital stinging (or if like me you follow ... ...moisturiser is similar to the Garnier Deep Pore Wash. It is a blue tube with the word "PureA" across it, a clearish screw top lid (40ml)..and who could forget my favourite phrase "helps clear imperfections"
It is "specially formulated for skin that is prone to imperfection, visible pores, or blotches". The salicylic acid and zinc *helps* clear imperfections and *prevents* them appearing. (Both words in my opinion which should be used loosely lol)

Advantages: Makes skin soft, refreshing, smells nice Disadvantages: Only a light moisturiser, doesnt prevent spots/blemishes
I started using this moisturizer when my pores seemed to get larger. They were noticeable, even though only close it, this still bothered me. I do get spots, not tonnes, but still enough for me to class myself as spotty. Especially just before my period starts. I was attracted to this product because of the "pore minimising" claims and that it contains salicylic acid and zinc extracts that I know are supposed to be good for spots and blemishes.
... ...headed along to Wilkos to see if they had any and alas! they did, for only £2.99.
I wash my face in the morning with Freederm and Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub and in the evenings just with Freederm. I apply this moisturiser once doing so. It smells lovely, kind of like cucumber and it feels fresh and cool on your face. The consistency is nice, it's not runny, neither is it too thick, it seems just right. All is fine until the products soaks into ...

...well if you use the Garnier pure face wipes before hand. They leave my skin feeling really clean and fresh. It also goes unnoticed under my makeup and is actually quite good at stopping my skin from drying out. Advantages: Feels nice on skin and has a pleasant smell Disadvantages: Not a lot for your money
I bought this after seeing it advertised in a magazine.
My skin is was not in great condition before I started to use this daily moisturiser but it has improved a lot since.
My skin is clearer, takes longer to get shiny and feels soft and comfortable.
I have tried many spot treatments before but this one is the only one that has been working for me. The type of spots I get usually make the area dry and flaky after the spot has gone. The appearance ... ...complexion has evened out and people have commented on how clear my skin looks.
The cream feels very light and is absorbed quickly into the skin. What's nice about this product is that a little goes a long way but if you feel like your skin is drier than usual and needs more, you can still put more cream on without your face feeling overloaded.
The cream just disappears into your skin and leaves a nice smooth velvety finish. Make up goes on nicely ...

Advantages: Fresh smelling, surprisingly long lasting for size of tube Disadvantages: A little expensive
This is one of the best moisturisers for 'problem skin' that I have discovered in years of testing! The tube is blue in colour and comes in a white cardboard box with plenty of information on it. The cream itself is a light blue colour, and I found I needed a couple of pea-sized amounts to cover my whole face. It has a beautiful cucumbery smell that makes the cream feel really fresh on your skin. Spots were kept at bay while I was using Pure A, and ... ...I were using the whole Pure A range. In my opinion, it lasts a pretty long time when you consider the size of the tube: you can really squeeze out those last remnants as I found I didn't really need that much to moisturise my whole face. The only thing I can possibly say as disadvantages are that it is a little expensive (but I reckon sometimes there might be some kind of 3 for 2 deal on Pure A products). Other than those relatively small issues, ...

Advantages: Makes your skin feel soft Disadvantages: Doesn't work and is expensive
Generally Garnier products are really good so i bought Garnier pure A night time moisturiser to try and get rid of my spots. At £4.99 i thought it was a little bit pricey as you didn't get very much in the 40ml tube but I thought it would be worth it if i got spot free skin so i bought it.
