Advantages: Good to start with Disadvantages: Belt Drive
I brought the Gemini XL-100 turntable's for my son a few years ago when he first started getting into spinning disk's.
They taught him well and is now using direct drive turntable's as he say's that they are much better for mixing with, but he does not have a bad word to say about the Gemini XL-100's, It's just that they are belt drive and he would rather use direct drive now.

I and my son would recomend these turntable's to anyone just starting to get into dj'ing, as i said before they are good turntable's and have never let him down, we would definatly buy Gemini again. ...
