Gillette Fusion Manual Razor

...new. The design of the Gillette Fusion caught my eye the most, and I thought that having 5 blades may be better than the 4 on the Wilkinson and offer a more comfortable shave. Upon trying it for the first time, I did find that it was more efficient in cutting the hairs, whilst at the same time more comfortable. The only real difference between the Wilkinson and the Gillette was the extra blade and the design, as the Wilkinson razor was very simplistic ...

...and as you expect from Gillette give you a great shave as long as your face doesn't include any curvy bits (Great razor for Max Headroom. Oops, showing my age.) Once you get to those confounding curvy bits (like the jawline, neck or chin) you had better be very careful. I nearly shaved my top lip off first time. After many years of loyalty to my fantastic old Gilette Mach III I was tempted to add the new Gilette Fusion to my Christmas list and what a let down. I honestly wonder if they ever actually do trial runs on these new razors before marketing them, or does someone look it it and say , wow, we paid someone thousands to come up with this lovely design, it must be good. !! I would like to ask if they have ever trialed it using wet hands, or hands that are slippy from shaving gel, it is virtually impossible to hold on to because of the stupid design of the handle. The Fusion has now found it's rightful place in the dark depths of my bathroom cabinet and my trusty old Mach III has been re-instated. I am sure that we will have many happy shaves together. ...

...better. I received this Gillette Fusion razor as a Christmas present this year, and I can honestly say it's horrendous. The cheap Bic razors did a better job than this! The razor seemed to be too wide, and just not shaving close enough - Maybe this is because of the wideness of the blades. However, the precision trimmer is excellent I must say.
