Reading a magazine one day, I came across an interview with Beyonce, where she claimed her favourite perfume was the “Armani Diamonds”. I’ve always being a fan of Armani; I have a few pairs of their glasses and perfumes so when I read that the Armani Diamonds was one of my celebrities favourite perfume, I was quite anxious to know what the “Armani Diamonds” smelt like because if Beyonce likes it then it must be something pretty special. I visited ... ...wrist, and my first impression wasn’t too good all I could smell was alcohol, I didn’t smell my wrist again I just left it not thinking anymore of it. Later, that week I went to visit my cousin and told her I was disappointed in the smell of the Armani Diamonds, I told her it stunk of alcohol and she explained I had to wait a few minutes for the alcohol smell to go away. Advantages: Smells gorgeous, I got a free gift with mine. Disadvantages: Runs out too quickly because I use it all the time.

I received for Christmas last year some vouchers for Boots, and had originally planned to treat myself to a new hairdryer with them, that is until one of my work colleagues came in smelling lovely of a new perfume her boyfriend had treated her to for her 21st birthday. I had a little squirt and loved it there and then. So off I went to Boots to treat myself to some courtesy ... ...vouchers) Emporio Armani Diamonds is a beautiful fragrance endorsed on the tv ads by the gorgeous Beyonce. It is a fresh, floral, sexy scent with a fruity aroma too. It comes in 3 sizes of bottle 30ml for £28, 50ml for £38, and 100ml for £52.(prices are from Boots but shop around you may get it cheaper) Mines is the 50ml bottle which I was pleasantly surprised came with a free 200ml bottle of the Body lotion. Not a bad bargain indeed...not sure if ...

Advantages: Fresh, Romantic but not sweet, Confident, Nose-Catching Scent. Long-lasting but light. Disadvantages: Name, Packaging, Advertising (Beyonce) all cheapen this fragrance!

I was talking to an assistant at a cosmetics counter as she was trying make-up on me, I mentioned I was going perfume shopping after my appointment with her. She said she used to work on a perfume counter and I asked her opinion of Armani Code (pour femme) - which I'd just saved up to buy. She said I had to try Armani Diamonds, which I did, and I can see why she recommended it!

Top Notes: Lychee and ... ...valley
Base Notes: Vetiver, cedar wood, patchouli and vanilla
It's a light fresh scent, which warms on the skin. It's not overpowering but noticeable. Comparing it to Armani Code, I'd say this is a daytime scent, whereas Code is a spicier version for evening. Having said that, the base notes are rich enough to carry on for eveningwear. If I had to describe it in 3 words: Fresh, Confident, Bright.

I am a twenty-something woman that likes to change her fragrance frequently, always looking for the perfect scent for different occasions and outfits. Which has meant that I have accumulated in a large (rather impressive) display of expensive bottles which all but take over my entire dressing table - ok also the bathroom too, much to my fiancés frustration. I simply must have spent a small fortune on this collection. Then last Christmas when I received ... ...dare I say it - I was finally ready to settle down and stay faithful for the first time, it was quite frankly beautiful.
Im not sure what struck me first, I love anything that sparkles and so the fact that this bottle twinkled and gleamed in front of me made me very excited as to what wonders were inside. The first spritz was instantly hypnotic, as a trained aromatherapist it was no surprise then to realise what the clever little devils in Armani ...

This perfume was a 21st birthday present last year, and it's nothing short of CLASS and CHIC in a bottle, i'm telling you! This is wear on special occasions, ideally in the evening because it's quite sweet, but not sickeningly so lol ... if i'm all dressed up and feeling good, this perfume is like the icing on my cake - it sensual, playful and above all great quality, lasting as even when the initial intensity dies down it never leaves you - you ... ...it! My boyfriend brought me this last year for my birthday in october, unfortunatley i only have a teeny bit left now. Is i because i have used so much of it? or is it because you don' actually get much of it in the bottle in the first place? Well i suppose it's a bit of both but it has gone exceptionally quickly though and i only use it about once a week! I have never used any of Armani's products before and using this perfume has made me want to buy ... ...and romantic but not sweet and strong. Which is why it makes a lovely gift for the girlfriend or wife. The bottle is very unique and different to other perfumes so it looks beautiful on your bedroom shelf. I think it is good value for money (even though it was a gift for me) but i would buy it for myself again. The smell stays on for a long time but it isn't a strong smell which lingers where ever you go! I wouldn't say there is anything bad about ...
