Advantages: The ladies like it Disadvantages: Strong smelling and not like the tester
...not cheap either. A typical Givenchy product. French and expensive. You do get a good amount of wear out of one bottle though due to its strength. A little dab will do you!
Appeal to the ladies is good. My wife likes it and many others have commented on it. Not sure if its me they are after or just genuinely impressed with the smell. Lets opt for the latter to prevent divorce!
Who should wear it?
Well, its not the most trendy of smells now as ... ...for work when I have meetings and need to smell good. Not one I would wear out clubbing due to not being fashionable enough.
A typical wearer would be 25-40 with a sense of smelling good. Hope that has not offended too many people.
Overall. A good strong aftershave that keeps the ladies interested. Pricey but good value due to its longevity. ...

Advantages: Sweet, Fruity, pleasant aroma Disadvantages: May not suit all tastes, Name may be mis-understood
...My bottle of Givenchy Pi was purchased at an introductory price of £15.00, but I’ve recently seen it for sale at £25.00. As with all fragrances, try before you buy as I imagine this smell won’t suit all tastes, but it certainly isn’t to be sniffed at (forgive the pun!). ...

Advantages: Delicious aroma Disadvantages: Not cheap
...compared to other brands. The Givenchy Pi bottle has an immediate impact - the gold top, triangular body and mathematical Pi symbol emblazened on the front connoted a sensory experience rather than a simple fragrance.
I was not disappointed. One short spray on my neck was enough to bring to life a sweet flowery woft that was masculine yet distinctive.
Fast forward 5 hours. It still has that delightful smell, and has not lost any of its power. The ... ...it came in doesn't seem to fit the luxury which is the bottle.
A noteworthy point is that I have received several complements from the fairer sex (or is that smarter sex, when it comes to fashion at least) as to how they prefer this smell as opposed to the alcohol fueled aroma of other brands. And when all is said and done, no doubt you will pay attention to them rather than me. ...

Advantages: Low introductory price Disadvantages: Fragrance appears to change
It may be a new product with a low introductory price and unusual packaging, but I was far from happy with it. First impression was that it was quite nice, however, after about half an hour, the fragrance appeared to change slightly to become rather feminine. My wife found it to be rather overpowering and suggested I do not use it especially considering the way the fragrance appears to change after a period of time. It certainly changed more than ...

Advantages: Fragrance named after very useful number. Disadvantages: Only a fragrance :(
The Givenchy wanted to create a unique and special image for their fragrance. That's why they kept the name nice and simple 'Pi.' The only problem was a lot of people did not understand pi. They thought it would be too fruity (like apple) or meaty (like steak.) Just to clear this up, Pi is :- 1. An Ok fragrance from Givenchy.
2. The poor spelling of a pie.
3. The Greek letter P or p, corresponding to the roman p. 4. A number, represented by said ... ...circle to its diameter. The value of pi has been calculated to many millions of decimal places, to no readily apparent purpose: no perfect circles or spheres exist in nature, since matter is composed of atoms and therefore lumpy, not smooth. Nature herself sometimes takes to rounding off the more extreme decimals of numbers when they get sufficiently small, as Prof. Heisenberg has pointed out. However, the continued extension of pi provides a harmless ...

An alternative to the citrus scents of the 90's, Pi cologne is a celebration of what makes more
a man seductive - his intelligence, courage, and contributions. Pi is more than a name, it's a symbol. The masculine bottle, designed by Serge Manseau, has a hi-tech closure system and plays on the contrast between pure lines and perfect proportion. Designed by Givenchy in 1998, Pi cologne is a refined, oriental, woody fragrance. It's fragrant nature explores essences of bergamot, lemon and sage. Blended with notes of jasmine, orris and sandalwood, far from light, the scent is deliberately masculine, woody and intense. Definitely intended for the naturally confident man.
