Gmail ***** Email is a modern way of commutation and there are many online email services available. Some of them are very popular with fast service and features. Gmail is an email service from Google incl. Gmail has many good features but it has more popularity in Asian regions rather than its host place in western countries like America and European territory. *** I will share some of my experience of accessing this site since last 5 years. The main reason of accessing this site was its fast service. I was familiar with yahoo mail before entering in Gmail, and at the time yahoo mail was very ... more

Genious Mail? GigaByte Mail? Gavin Mail? A friend of mine recently admitted that he actually thought Gmail was a private mail address set up by a mutual friend going by the name Gavin. Hmmm, Gavin Mail. Of course, I laughed at him and his muppetry and sent him an invite to join GMail and see for himself. I never did admit to him that when I'd first heard of GMail I'd thought exactly the same thing, especially when the said Gavin sent me an invite to have my own GMail address. It wasn't until I'd signed up that I realised how foolish I had been, but I'm pleased he invited me and as free web ... more

I have just been invited by a friend to try out a new email service by Google. Yes, you saw rightly, Google, the beloved search engine, who according to one of the latest BBC report, dominates 50% of the market share in internet searches. Registration = Once invited to join, registering was very simple. Follow the link in the invitation email took me to the email account creation page of Gmail. Type in a first name, last name and desired login name which must be at least 6 characters long. The default gmail login name is the concatenation of the first and last names, namely first.last@gmail ... more

Gmail is a free web-based email service provided by Google. You can sign up FREE to the site now by locating to the homepage and going to the 'Create an account' feature; you'll then need to input a few details and you're good to go.... At the time I joined Gmail a couple of years ago now, you needed to have an invitation from an already existent gmail user but that seems to have changed now or has it?:) Once you sign up and have created an account, you can then log into it and this will take you to your inbox which will hold all your incoming mail in the main part of the page. The layout is ... more

When a friend's invitation to Gmail plopped into my inbox, I was excited. OK, I was joining the party a little late and all the cool kids had signed up months ago but it felt a bit like being invited to a secret society. I mean, you still can't actually sign up directly for this service (http://www.gmail.com) as it's still officially in a beta-testing stage, so you need to get an invitation from someone who already has an account to get one yourself. Sadly I realised such invitations are now ridiculously simple to come by (and I have 50 of them myself now ready to hand out) which suggests a ... more

Gmail is the best thing that has happened to internet email. It really revolutionized the world of internet email in at least 3 ways when it was launched. First was the mailbox size it offered, the second was the way it organizes email and the third was the user interface. I think Google mail started off with a 1GB (or 2GB, was it?) mailbox which was virtually unheard of in the world of internet email. Today, it offers around 2,800 MB and that's increasing every moment. More than enough for anybody's needs, I'm sure. Gmail started a virtual revolution in internet mailbox sizes. The two ... more

How many of us hate spam? How many of us have a hotmail/yahoo account that is FULL of spam and locks us out when its full? I bet the vast majority of you out there have this problem and I for one was getting REALLY sick of it. Enter Google. The clever people over at what must be the most popular search engine there is have put together what they call "an experiment in a new kind of webmail, built on the idea that you should never have to delete mail and you should always be able to find the message you want" The main premise that is behind how this email system works is to be able to combine ... more

Hotmail, Yahoo mail, now may it's time for Gmail. It's also known as Google mail, which is one of most popular internet mail service. I have been using yahoo mail as my mail email address for quite a long time. I feel it's good and now it has a new version for more easy to use. But I found many people have Gmail accounts now. And people are talking about Gmail. So I was curious to know what's good in Google mail. Then I went to Google and tried to sign up one for myself. Unfortunately I found it's only for invitation users. Nobody invites me, so how can I get one? Why not have a try on eBay ... more

----------------------------------- The concept ----------------------------------- I first read about this Gmail malarkey a few months ago. Big hoohah about the wonderful search engine Google beginning an email service that would scan your email and manipulate adverts in order to ensnare you into earning google money and taking away your privacy. 'Oh, it's not an ethical company after all!' they cried ('Show me one that is' I replied) So enough of the rhymes. I got a gmail invite from a friend, I was after one because I couldn't keep putting my ridiculously name hotmail account on my CV, and ... more

Googlemail: Back in 2004 Google launched Gmail as an invitation only webmail, POP3 and IMAP service it was not until 2007 that is became widely available to the public. Right from the off people were raving about it, enthusing about how great it was and how it was going to make deleting emails a thing of the past. To be honest at the time I couldn't really care what email service I was using and I was quite happy with my webtribe account. When webtribe became increasingly unstable and unreliable I jumped ship and finally decided to give Gmail ago. By that time another email service Gmail.co.uk ... more
