A great light snack

Very very very morish!

Ok, cheesy title I know, but hey I'm in one of those moods! lol Now, ever since I was little I have enjoyed the corn puff variety of crisps rather than the traditional potato varieties. They're a bit more exciting and different! And at the top of my list has always been Wotsits! Previously under...

“Cheese Overload”

My daughter is quiet whilst eating them

The smell, the mess!

I am a crisp lover. I could easily get through multipacks of crisps each day and not batter an eyelid, although the waistband of my trousers would be groaning under the pressure from my ever expanding waistline! However, there are some crisps that I just cannot force myself to eat, and Wotsits...

Nice to eat.

1 pack is not enough

My daughter goes back to school on Thursday so I needed to pick up a few things for her packed lunch. Off to Tesco we go to buy the apples, chocolate bars, bits for a sandwich and a must, crisps. Looking at the vast choice my daughter picks up the Wotsits. Good choice I think, you have 2 days at...

We buy Wotsits for our son as he is too young for normal potato crisps and these just melt in your mouth so are perfect for little monsters. On our last shopping trip to Tescos we bought two multipack bags of Wotsits as they were buy one get one free, so we ended up with 24 bags for £1.57p which...

Tastes good, cheap

Leaves your fingers orange

What’s small, a funny colour and smells of cheese? A cheesy corn puff sounds really unappealing, the smell isn’t too great, and after eating a pack you’re left with orange fingers. So why are Wotsits so popular? There are so many different flavours of crisps available these days, from the ever...

You won't get crushed by some animated character

You will get orange fingers

You know your getting old(er) when you rediscover something from years ago. Usually with me it’s a TV program or a piece of music but every now and again it’s food. I don’t usually forget food I liked (should I put here ‘never met food I didn’t like’, which is not entirely true, I don’t like...

Cheesy, lovely, crunchy

Too small, bit messy

They just get better and better! Perhaps I should become a logo writer! I have this list you see, essential munches ops and I'm gradually working my way through (and no longer feeling sick from the Roses), gathering several pounds along the way so I can bring some knowledge to you people. I cant...

Cheesy Wotsits Cheesy Wotsits were my favourite crisps when I was younger and recently I have started buying them again on the assumption that they are slightly healthier than other crisps! Wotsits are made by Walkers and are crisps which take the form of baked corn puffs. They are not fried and...

as the snacks in general, it is not too healthy

When I was young there were only salty snacks available. Now there is a huge range of them. Supermarkets place them all over the shopping area, so it is quite difficult to avoid my elder son discovering them. I try to feed my sons as healthy as possible but for some reason unhealthy food tastes...

Funny enough last night I entered the dreamworld feeling happy and I dreamed that I opened a packet of very cheesy Wotsits indeed, and inside was a cheesy leaflet. As I opened it up I was very excited - "I actually won a golden robot!" But the orange-streaked leaflet said "Congratulations. You...

Multipack ones aren't, Still not *healthy*

Or at least according to Word’s spellchecker… Any regular readers of my ops will probably have picked up on the fact that I like all things chocolaty. My teeth are all very much sweet, and as such I don’t generally like savoury snacks. If you’ve read my Big Green Triangle...

These snacks are one of my favourites along with other brands like McCoys, Skips etc. I buy these packets of corn snacks for 19p for a 27g bag which is a bargain compared to Superdrug which sell it for 32p! A multipack of 6 will cost £1.29 at Tescos. Other supermarkets stock these, newsagents and...

“Wot's a Wotsit.....”

published 02/05/2003

Yummy

I need more,more,more!!

Wot's a Wotsit? A Wotsit is a corn puff of the crisp variety. They hang out in gangs of around 48(yup,I'm sad and counted them!) they live in their natural habitat of the crisp packet.Being very social little things they often can be bought in multipacks, sometimes multipacks will be of the same...

“WOTSIT to you”

great tasting snack

Stick in your teeth

Of late, my stomach has been spreading in size. My jeans (a slim 30-inch) are too tight and I have to unbutton my buttons when I have eaten. I feel somewhat like a whale, slowly blubbering across the seas, spurting water at boats (okay, I don't actually spurt water, not intentionally). There can...

taste so cheesy

you end up with messy fingers

I have also loved crisps, and the only flavour that does not appeal to me is cheese and onion. Normal crisps are quite boring as they are flat, but these ones are very different and I have been eating them for years. Now what are they called, ah, that’s it you know Wotsits, they are made by...
