    Not made in China Google's Chrome browser appears to be a ship that isn't going to just sail past our office windows without anybody noticing, the reason why? It's created by cyber giants Google. For the first time the search engine maestro is going to market the browser the good old fashion way, by doing an advertising campaign; never before has Google had to enforce any written media coverage regarding one of their products or services.     For many people, the default windows browser, Internet Explorer will be the sole web browser they will use, some unaware of alternatives, some just content with using IE, however there are a number of other web browsers available to use, perhaps the next most well known is Mozilla Firefox, and more recently, Google Chrome. I had always used IE, although I chose not to upgrade my IE6 to IE7, since I don?t like the look of it, and don't really like their tabbed browsing.     Google Chrome is Google’s answer to an internet website browser. It is basically a replacement for Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Opera or any other program you may be using to view websites on the internet.     Many people who own a Windows computer will no doubt start browsing the web with Internet Explorer. It comes free with most copies of Windows and it means you can start your computer, click the icon and start browsing the web. Great. But if you want to browse a little faster and use a browser that feels more fluid in it's use then you should try installing Google Chrome.     I’m funny when it comes to browsers I guess you just get used to the one you use and find it strange when you try out a new one. I currently use I.E. 8 but find it freezes every so often, and have as yet not decided if it is the browser or my PC which is causing the problem, anyhow I decided to give Google Chrome a try and see how good it was since I had heard nothing but good things about it. After doing a Google search I found the download site and proceeded to get the download. It was all really simple and easy and within half an hour I had the new browser available on my computer.     I must be one of the few people in the known universe not to have tried this web browser until now. I've been using the internet at home for around 10 years and until recently have been content with Internet Explorer (I.E) until my partner tried to install the latest version and it caused our laptop to crash. We thought we would have to put up with Mozilla Firefox which is ok but lacked something in my opinion..thats for another review.     A few months ago I got totally sick of Internet Explorer crashing all the time and decided to finally switch to a different browser. I checked out IE's main rivals like Firefox, most of which I'd used before in Internet cafes and suddenly remembered that I'd heard Google had released a browser too.
