Advantages Advantages Bright and colourful, safe for baby, strengthens leg muscles

Disadvantages Disadvantages No volume control on entertainment panel

In the summer of 2005, I had "proud mummy moment" when my son, who was about eight months old, tried to get up by himself on his hands and knees for the first time. It was at that moment that I decided he was ready. The time was right. Yes - he was ready for his first set of wheels. So, off we trotted to Toys'R'Us to see what we could find. There were a few baby walkers on display, but out of all of them, the Graco Baby Walker looked the most sturdy and had the most additional features. Now this is not just a baby walker. Oh no. There is a little entertainment panel on the front for your baby ... more

    Advantages Advantages excellent learning device

Disadvantages Disadvantages batteries run out quick

Ever since my little boy has been about 4 months old, I could tell that he is strong on his legs. He wasn't even sitting up but I decided to buy a walker. After purchasing the Graco Travel System, which was a great buy (£130 from ToysRus), I decided on buying the Graco Deluxe Walker, complete with play tray. Although I knew he wouldn't be using it straight away, I figured at least its there for when he is a little bigger. PACKAGING I bought the walker from ToysRus for £30. It comes flat pack so knew there would be some assembly required. I needn't have worried though. After checking that ... more

Advantages Advantages wide base, sturdy, easy to clean, keeps baby occupied for short periods

Disadvantages Disadvantages Loud speaker, non-adjustable volume, only use with extreme caution

On our recent holiday to Florida, Christopher decided it was time to stand on his own two feet, and started holding himself up using the couch as support. We figured if we put him into a walker, it would help him build leg strength but most importantly stop him from falling. So mummy got her purse out, daddy picked up the keys for the hired car and off we went to Wal-Mart. Two hours later, after much research, we returned to the villa with a Graco Tot Wheels Entertainer. ASSEMBLY The Graco Tot Wheels Entertainer comes in a flat box, so we knew when we purchased it; it would have to be ... more

*Up-dated review! ~*~ The Company ~*~ Graco as we know it today, actually started out in the early 40's as Graco Metal Products, based in Philadelphia, USA, producing and supplying the parts for machines and cars to local manufacturers. This continued for over ten years until one of the founders left the company, the remaining partner decided to make his own line of products. David Saint, one of Graco's employees, worked within the company as a stained glass expert and engineer. As a father of nine children he often observed his wife comforting their children on a swing in their yard. Being ... more

Now that my son is showing signs of wanting to get about on his own we decided to buy a baby walker to help him gain strength in his legs. We decided to try Toysrus in Glasgow as we had bought our high chair there and found the prices very competitive. They had three walkers on display - one very basic with no toys, one with lots of toys that seemed to obscure the baby's view and the one we decided on - Graco Deluxe Walker with Play Tray. It is blue in colour with a wide base, checked seat and a play tray with lots of toys. The usual price was £29.99 but they had a sale so we got it for £24.99 ... more

Advantages Advantages Good value for money

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Noisy!!

I must say that the graco baby walker is one of the best buys that i made for my son. I have bought baby walkers before but they have not been as sturdy and as nice to look at as this one. The graco baby walker is quite a simple design with a navy blue well built frame and a blue chequered water prove seat to sit in . It has a removable playtray which lights up and plays music in the likes of chim chimney from mary poppins and other childrens favourites. now, this is where my title comes in, on the playtray there is a toy steering wheel and gear stick which every time the gear stick is moved ... more

Advantages Advantages Folds flat for storage and lightweight

Disadvantages Disadvantages Needs soft bumpers for your ankles! Could do with some differnet tunes!

When your little one can sit upright and hold their head unsupported try them in this, my daughter loved it from her first moment. At first she could only dangle her legs and her feet only just touched the ground, but that was mainly my fault as I didn’t have it adjusted to her correct height and she entertained herself for a while playing with the toy activity tray - which does detach if the musical tunes get too repetitive for you! When her dad came home from work he adjusted it properly and hey presto she found out she could move all by herself, Waahey and off she went. Ok, so she only ... more

Advantages Advantages Variety of toys keeps baby interested, sturdy

Disadvantages Disadvantages seat is not quite as deep as i would have expected, 9 month old has climbed out!

I feel i have to edit this, my 9 month old baby has today managed to climb out of it! I thought from the start that the seat wasnt deep enough and i think this prooves it. Ill leave my origional review at the bottom. When my son was 6 months old, we decided it was time for a walker, I went out looking for one in the local town centre and online and this seemed the best value and was good looking and sturdy to. I paid £29.99 which i think is a good price. When we got it home i set about putting it together and thought i was in for the long haul, i was wrong, it was very easy to put together ... more

Advantages Advantages keeps my child happy and entertained for ages

    Disadvantages Disadvantages a little noisy

This item was ideal for me as I only have a small area of living space it is compact and folds away in to small storage space while at the same time keeps my child occupied for hours, With its bright colours and different gadgets for him to play with (even the other half and older kids will enjoy it), it's educational and fun, helping them to further develop there hand eye co-ordination and for the older child can help with colours, numbers & letter. The walker is very sturdy (my son has crashed in to many things and it's still like new). It has a removable seat so it can be washed unlike some ... more

    Advantages Advantages Fantastic price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not really ideal

We need to get a baby walker and were a bit limited with the amount of cash we could spend. When we saw this baby walker we thought that it was fantastic value for money. It was easy to put together and very bright and colourful for our little one who loved it. The disadvantages to this baby walker is that it is very noisy, the gear stick does now not activate the music (which is a good thing, but didnt look exactly well put together), the seat is not a wipe clean seat meaning that you have to wait till babys in bed before being able to unclip the eight clips holding it in to wash it in the ... more
