Advantages Advantages bassinet with nightlight, vibrating padded mattress & music centre, toy bar, changing mat with straps

Disadvantages Disadvantages electronic features can only be used with bassinet

Our daughter is now 14 months and has used her travel cot as her main cot since birth. As we live in a 2-bedroom house and already had 2 boys sharing one room, we wanted something that she could use in our room for a while, that wouldn't get in the way too much, whilst still giving her room to grow. Graco's Contour Electra was perfect. It looked really stylish with its contoured design, and nicely padded top rails, and the mesh sides meant that baby could see you. It had a full size bassinet which we used as a crib when she was small, with an integral nightlight and a vibrating mattress and ... more

Advantages Advantages Adjustable height, maneuverable, nightlight, change mat, vibrating mattress.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Awful music!

My parents bought a Graco Contour Electra travel cot (bit of a mouthful I know!) to keep at their house for those times when my little monkey became too much of a handful & had to be sent off to Grandma's for a reprieve for mummy... I was shocked that they had spent so much money (£100) on something that would only be used infrequently - I fully expected them to buy something basic instead. However, now that the cot has actually been used a few times I think we are all in agreement that the extra cost was well worth it. This cot is perfect for my parents since they are (quite!) old & not as ... more

    Advantages Advantages everything

Disadvantages Disadvantages little fidily to put up and down the first few times

i bought the contour electra duluxe ine geometric design after considering lots of other travel cots. i decided to get this one as i think it looks very stylish and had been told that the matteress seemed very comfy. i managed to find it on a website(presious little ones) for £106 so the top of the range for nearly the price of the standard version! it arrived quickly and i soon was putting it together. it took a little while to initially set up but i now find it quite easy to put up and down! the matress is lovely and came with a protecter. the bassinett just pops in and out and takes a lot ... more

Advantages Advantages very compact for storage

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be awkward to pack away

I ordered this as a last minuet buy before my son was born. It came in very handy as I was able to set this up in my living room so that i didn't have to take him up to his nursery every time he wanted to have a little nap. The vibrating mattress was very useful at the start as it really helped to get my son to sleep. The music is very good as is the fact that it has several volumes as even when he woke he would be happy to listen to the music for a few mins allowing me time to finish what i was doing instead of having to go and get him straight away. I never actually used the night light ... more

    Advantages Advantages lots of advantages

Disadvantages Disadvantages can not clean it

We bought this one to replace our old graco travel cot which was fine but got a bit dirty. I have had five children of my own and use this for my constant supply of grandchildren. This one was bought on offer from argos at half the RRP, around £50 and we found it a great replacement for the more basic graco travel cot. this one features a inner cot which raises the base so that you can see a smaller baby sleeping. it has a toy moble, which we never used and a changing station which lays over the cot to change at waist height, which we never used. The light and sound and vibrating feature is ... more

Advantages Advantages good for having comfy place to sleep and play as well as upstairs cot

Disadvantages Disadvantages maybe struggle to fit into small cars

I found this product easy to assemble. What great value for money, i paid just £95 online at mothercare. This cot is great for so many things... obviously its a great item to have if you need to transport it from one place to another, fits well into a boot of a medium sized car but this wasn't the main reason i purchased this item. I wanted a comfortable place for my baby to play and sleep whilst i was downstairs as well as my proper cot upstairs and i came across this and as a bonus it has a changing mat attached at good height too. Baby sleeps comfortably in this travel cot and the bassinet ... more

Advantages Advantages easy to put up

    Disadvantages Disadvantages size when erected

We purchased this travel cot with bassinet instead of having a moses basket, we have been totally impressed with it. It seems to be comfortable for the baby and having the bassinet was brilliant when having to pick a newborn baby in and out throughout the night. It folds up compactely and the only disadvantage was that it was quite large when it was in use all the time in our bedroom, however this will probablyu be a benefit when in use as a playpen for a larger baby. We also feel that being in a large 'bed' from birth aided the trabsition to a normal cot when we moved our baby into his own ... more
