Advantages Advantages Compact and comfortable for parent and baby.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Difficulty in fastening the seatbelt around the car seat.

(Now updated!) Like others, I bought this travel system in a sale and was impressed with the price of only £100 in Mothercare. The travel system consists of a car seat suitable from 0 to 9 months which clicks into the puchchair forming a very neat, compact pram. It is easy to control one handed and has a generously sized basket beneath for your light shopping. It's predominantly navy blue with an orange tartan trim (interesting set of colours, not very feminine!) - the newer ones are navy with light blue lines forming squares but to get the bargain price of £100 we had to buy last years model ... more

Advantages Advantages Lightweight and manoeuvrable, great value for money

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the most stylish on the market

If you don't have children, you may imagine the choice of baby transportation to be a simple one. Prams, pushchairs, that's about it, right? Well, no, actually. There is a bewildering range of options out there, some of which retail at approximately the price of a small car (well, nearly) and are barely recognisable as baby buggies at all. (Those are the ones you see celebrities - stick-thin, naturally, two weeks after giving birth - pushing their ridiculously-named babies in for the benefit of the paparazzi. It's not so much a buggy, more of a fashion statement.) The Graco Mirage isn't making ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, Cheerful and functional

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not particularly attractive

The Graco Mirage was my very first Travel System way back in 2006. At the time I was expecting my son and I was pretty clueless about what was out there in the way of baby transport. When my husband (well he was my fiancé then!) and I went to baby shops we were totally bewildered and baulked at the prices of the Mamas and Papas systems. We also didn't have a clue about fitting car seats to cars and the first couple of times we went in to the shop and left with nothing. As much as I looked at some strollers and thought "wow" we didn't have the money to splurge on baby goods at the time. We ... more

Advantages Advantages strong, sturdy, safe and long lasting

Disadvantages Disadvantages rather big to store

A 3 in 1 pram is definitly the way to go! It sees baby through for years! I choose this model because it was a bit smaller than many of the other brands, which were really heavy to move around. And I'm glad I did! It's a strong, sturdy and safe product, easy to navigate, the four wheels make it easy to turn. If there are downsides it would be that it is still a little heavy - although less so than other 3 in 1's we tried, it is almost impossible to use on gravel or on walks through uneven ground (eg, in my case, dog walk through country paths) - although yet again, this would not differ in any ... more

Advantages Advantages Very convenient to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit TOO lightweight!

Graco Travel System Suitable from birth to approx 3 years Car seat suitable from birth to 13kg. Dimensions: L: 90 cm, W: 49 cm, H: 103 cm. Folded: L88 x W49 x H37 cm Net weight: 7.3 kg. Car seat weight: 3.6 kg When expecting my son, born earlier this month, my husband and I saw the Graco Mirage Travel System at a local store. We were impressed by the design, the idea of a travel system instead of a pram, and also the price in comparison to others available at the store. Being a bit of a web-nut, we had a look online to see what kind of price it was at various stores. As Graco is a well-known ... more

Advantages Advantages Solid pushchair which is comfortable for baby

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

As first-time parents my partner and I wanted to shop very carefully and make our money go as far as possible without compromising safety and comfort. We saw the denver system advertised in many magazines and it always came up as the best buy, plus it has also won awards. It is a wonderfull travel system and I totally recomend it. It is such good value. I think we got ours a bit cheaper at an independant store at £150, but I wouldn't have been too unhappy if we had payed £200 for it. Included in the travel system is the 0-9 months car seat which is very comfortable and supportive. It has an ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good price

Disadvantages Disadvantages Car seat is difficult to get out

I bought my Graco Mirage Travel System from local Mothercare for around £119.00 which seemed like a good value compared to many other travel systems. It's got everything you might need while out and about. Shopping basket is a very good size and is good enough to store all the baby stuff you need when you go out. All in all, this travel system seems to have everything other systems have and Mothercare will even deliver it if you ask in-store. Now the problem is the quality. Wheels are plastic and after a bit they start to creak. My husband and I bought some oil to put on them but unfortunately ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages safety catch for folding is a pest

The Graco mirage travel system cost me £152 including the optional extra of rain cover, and being in the north east of Scotland it was a must!. That was two years ago but i don't think the price has changed. I can tell you that it is one of the best investments i've made. My daughter left hospital in her car seat (bearly 9 hours old) and has hardly gone a day without being in it. You get the car seat which fixes securly to the buggy, is easy to strap into the car, and does birth to 9 months. The buggy is sturdy and glides along most surfaces. It can be fully controlled with one hand, which is ... more
